SLIET Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

This university is deemed university then the faculty taught the subject also check the exam copy then exam level is moderate and easy type. Syallabus is more and time is minimum so minimise the Syallabus or maximise the time.

All curriculum courses are good and they have to improve something in the workshop because the faculty are good but the availability of equipment is less in some workshops. Classrooms are good for students and residential facilities are also good

Well, placement rate of Sliet college are low. But also placement depends on the skills and the knowledge of the individual. Only few of our seniors got placed at higher package, some got low package while some got placed out campus. The average package of Sliet can be 3 lpa and the highest package was last year of 13 lpa. The average percentage of a student should upto 80, he/she can be easily placed . My plan is to pursue mtech after completing btech.

Sliet longowal campus placement is well and good its Training and placement department works is really appreciated now days hindustan Unilever Mahindra tata Shere cement jsw L &T etc multinational companies and registered companies are visted and offer the job to the sliet student's

Placement cell of SLIET Longowal is doing well. No. Of students is more who get placed in multi national company and registered company. Like Mahindra, TCS, zscaler , fidelity international, Shree cement, L& T, torrent gas , Hindustan Unilever etc. Placement start from 7th semester.

3rd years students are eligible for internship opportunities through training and placement department of the institute. Average placement ranges from 3-4 LPA and highest placement is 25 LPA. Most of the people in the campus are not motivated at all. So, they don't focus on anything. They just complete the degree.

Placement of our college is quite low, average is ariund 4 - 5 LPA. CS offers a little better placements of around 7-8 LPA. Around 50 - 60 percent students are placed. Companies like infosys, TCS, wipro, JP morgan chase and co.,etc comes during placement season. Highest On campus placement is 24 LPA and this year it is around 21 LPA, and 36 LPA is Highest Off Campus placement. Some of the students do not prefer placements they go higher studies and competative exams like GATE, CAT, UPSC, etc. I do prefer pursuing M.Tech after my B.E.

Placements of this college have been average from some years but since last two years it is improving. The average package is almost 5 LPA if you have studied something. Here is training and placement cell which conducts trainings and tests for placements. It regularly conducts different different contests. It also calls industry mans to guide the students. In some previous month they called love babbar, who is a famous tech teacher in computer science department.

we do have placement drives in collage , from 7th semester one is eligible for placements . companies such has wipro delloite amul tata group of companies reliance goldman sack etc visited with their requirment offers. the highest package from collage is around 24 lakhs and the median package is around 4.5-5 lakhs , the percentage of students getting placed is around 85% . my plan after getting degree is to go for higher studies i.e doing mtech and phd

The campus placements are good and are getting better day by day. Our alumni are working in companies like Google and Microsoft. The students who do not participate in placements are preparing for exams like GATE , CAT and GRE for masters degree.
