True side of SLIET

Likes

The campus life our college is so good which I like the most.
Every college has library but in our sliet we also have digital library where so many computer are available for every student
The faculties are very good there . There help us so much

Dislikes

They only give 1 GB data per day which is very less
The message food is very bad our hostel which I don't like at all
Our college is very far from the main city . Because the area where our college is not developed, the shops are closed around 7 pm in our college area

Placement Experience:

The placement ratio of our college is very good. The highest package offered by our college is 18 LPA. And the average package is 3LPA. So many companies visited in our college every year I e. Z scaler, Wipro, JSW, pkka etc. My plans after getting degree is to become entrepreneur

Our campus is very good, the students are also very good there also the faculties.

Dislikes

Our college is very far from the main city, we are totally dependent on bus timing
our college give only 1gb data per day which is very less

Placement Experience:

Don't come with high expectaions -> Our college provides placements. -> but the highest package of our college is not equal to the lowest packages of some colleges. -> the average package of our college is 3-4 LPA -> My plans after getting degree is to go for self-employment and also to give placements to my juniors

My side story of SLIET

Likes

The things which I most liked is Campus,all religious temples.
helpful friends and seniors which are always there to help in exam and various things.
Different fest are held which are great source of entertainment,refreshment and exposure.

Dislikes

Very far from main city,poor connectivity
Faculty are average,some labs are very poorly maintained
No nearby good market for any good things,restricts good exposure of big city

Placement Experience:

Placement is quite mattern of concern of college and placement authority. Highest placement is 21 lakh where as average package lies only at 4 lakh. Although there has been many workshops held to improve it but yet not much improvement seen.

Overview Of SLIET

Likes

Our campus is very good, the students are also very good there also the faculties.
in our college each and everything is available canteen, restaurant, chat shop, dosa shop, stationary shop, tailor shop, photo studio etc.
in our sliet we have temple but we also have h=gurudwara and mosque

Dislikes

our college is very far from the main city, we are totally dependent on bus timing

as like other student i also don't like the mess food here

College life in SLIET

Likes

Overall college is good and helpful for all students
Faculty members are also good and supportive
Infrastructure are also nice and course will be designed for below average students also.

Dislikes

Canteen is something to improve and maintenance
Buses are not there in the campus so the campus will provide buses for local students
Make a proper ground for sport activities

In 7th semester students can give interview also 6th semester students can give. Wipro, Accenture, google and many more companies visited in this campus with 11 lpa average offer. More than 70 percent students got placed. After getting the degree I want to job in mnc company.

Campus Life is overall a healthy one here
Infrastructure is top class. This college has everything you need
Faculty are there to help you if you really want to explore

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is so poor much like every government college
Hostel timing for boys is so tight, like you have to get in the hostel by 10pm
Reading hall is not opened 24*7 for every student which is sad

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester become eligible for placement. Quite a few companies have visited the campus and recruited students from different disciplines, companies like JSW, L&T, IOL, etc have visited this year for placement. The highest placement is from off campus which was 32 lacs, bagged by CSE students. Last year JSW offered 13 lacs to a student from mechanical design which was the highest from the same branch. Chemical branch students also get placed in numbers.

Me and experiencing my college

Likes

I like the security given to the students here.
I love how teachers respond to us to give the answers of our questions.
College is full of greenery so you will love the atmosphere.

Dislikes

Availability of buses as there are not a lot of buses to go in a city area.
The college is in rural area so there is lot availability of different type of products.

Placement Experience:

Students can apply in the pre-final year for interviews as they are applicable for college placements. Coca-Cola, Cremkca jsw Hindustan Unilever Limited, etc big companies are there where students can get jobs. Many types of packages are given in the college according to your capabilities in college. Almost 70% of students got placed. I want to pursue my PhD so there is a lot of time to think about this.

Likes

I like its campus there is a lot of greenery everywhere.
Fee structure, as it is really low compared to other colleges.
It has really a big campus, including lake.

Dislikes

Peoples are really bad here you cannot trust on anyone.
Hostel timings, girls are not allowed to stay outside of hostel after 7 and in winters after 5.
Behavior of warden and caretakers of hostel is also not good

Placement Experience:

Placements are good if you know. Companies come here and students get nice Placements the only thing that matters is your skill. If you have the potential then you can crack it. Many students also get off-campus placement.

I like the nursery and the herbal perk in collage
There is a lake in the campus which is surrounded by the tree
There is a library in the collage with the more then 1 lakh books

Dislikes

I did not like the hostel timing system in the colage
