The college campus is on its top notch it bares 6 accadamic blocks including other blocks and it's so good and well maintained and the garden is also very clean and beautiful everything is well organized
Getting some positive feedback from family and friends so i join this course.
Faculty is really good at teaching and i trust that it will improve my knowledge.

Dislikes

other than that the college has no other things that i disliked
the Campus of Humanities department is quite small
wifi is not functional and cannot be used

Bonding of Students with each other and Teacher Student Relationship
Decent Hostel rooms and Decent Class timings
Clean and Small Campus with almost every feature available

Area of Campus is a bit far as compared to most other institute campuses
Mess food is okay or not so okay some time
Not so good location for any market type areas

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you are opting for private colleges due to circumstances always chose the CSE branch because it will be best for your future. Faculty: Student ratio is 1:25 to 30 so yes it's great. Each faculty member is greatly qualified and has more than 5 years of teaching experience. Exams are monthly basis and moderately hard but if you read the subject not so hard to pass.

Placement Experience:

In the 4th semester, students could appear for placement in the campus interview. At that time many companies has come in which the IT sector, Retail sector, and Automobile sector were prominent. At least 80% of the students were selected and for those who were not, most students had their businesses and goals. Like I was also selected for the Export House before completing my MBA.

Placement Experience:

After completing the course you can go for higher studies or you can go for industry. In smit campus placement starts in the 6th semester from 6th sem to 8th placements are going on. The average package is approximately 4 to 5 LPA The highest package in the 2023 batch until now is 14lpa

Sikkim Manipal Institute Of Medical Sciences (SMIMS): My Dream Medical College

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS was always my dream course. SMIMS has the highest faculty: student ratio as much as I have read about. All the faculties have specialization in their field, Mostly MD, DM, Ph.D., and also MBBS. We usually have 2 sessional exams, 1 pre-University and 1 University exam in a year, and many small formative assessments and tests throughout the year. It is quite easy to pass those exams if one is really dedicated to studies.

From the 7th semester, we become eligible for placements. I got two offers during the 7th sem one from Infosys and the other from BOSCH, I chose the latter. Microsoft, Dell, Shell, and Wells Fargo offer a very good package.

Well equipped nfrastructure and excellent faculty.

Placement Experience:

From the final year, a student becomes eligible for campus placements. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, byju's and a lot more recruit students for placements. The highest salary package is 900000 per annum whereas the average salary is 600000 per annum. On an average 80-90% students get placements.

Amazing experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course was recommended by junior college teachers and one of the other reasons why I chose the course is also because this course includes in-depth studies about the subjects I had in my junior college. The study material was provided well by the faculty and teaching methods were good too. Exams were conducted semesters vise which was usually in the month of October/ November and another semester was April /June. The exams use to be difficult. If you failed in any paper you would have to pay an extra amount of around 400rs and pass the exam.

A Short Review on Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course is followed as per the prescription of AICTE. Minor Specializations are also provided for skill enhancement. Faculties are helpful with personal guidance to students, Teacher to student ratio is good. Students are encouraged to participate in many events and research seminars. Also, the live projects and infrastructure of the campus are excellent.

I have a few friends from Sikkim Manipal University and according to them, it is not a great place for innovative ideas and opportunities. It is a good option if you just want a degree. Here are some of the perks of joining the institute.

There are over 15 clubs at SMIT. The club culture is quite good at the institute. If you want you can start your own club too.
It has a great geographic landscape. There are awesome places that you can visit.
It helps in the all-round development of students.

Overall SMIT is not a bad option for distance learning.
