I can assure you that SMIT provides one of the best college experiences in India. The faculty here are very supportive, they help each student with their doubts, encourages them to be innovative, and contribute their understanding to the research and development in science and technology. The study pattern is very simple over there, every day we have a new thing to learn, that made our subjects more interesting to study. The study procedure is more than just about studies but deeply in knowledge and practicality. There are many labs that support each student to have both theoretical and practical knowledge of all subjects. Our Institute made sure that the whole course syllabus was up to the mark and that each student gets the best education. All the authorities are very supportive, which makes the overall investing four years here worth it.One of most secure campus for girls (follow the SMIT Youtube channel) and the best part is faculty members are staying in the campus. They are always ready to help you even at mid night. You will find yourself in a place ?ÛÏhome away from home?۝.The biggest challenge for an engineering graduate is to get a decent job or a startup or a platform from where he/she can pursue her higher studies right after getting a Degree as he/she would have invested a lot of money, time and hardwork. Very few colleges have infrastructures to meet all these demands and SMIT is one of them.

After doing my 12th with 68% in CBSE, I was looking for colleges to persue BBA. One of my cousins was doing BBA from Sikkim Manipal University in Magitar and asked me to search about it online. I was impressed with the curriculum, the infrastructure and one of my cousin already studying there ended me up filling the online form worth Rs.1000 admission. I appeared for CAT exam in which I score 98. Along with application, I deposited my marksheets and other bank details. After few days I got a call for admission.

I was allotted seat in this college in the 2nd round of counselling. I was happy to get the seat because I wanted to study in an environment which was friendly and quality of education is better along with high placement ratio. The admission process includes registration then filling JEE counselling form with choice preference and do remember to lock them. After this, when the seat is allotted take the print out of provisional seat allocation and e-challan.While accepting seat chose freeze,slide or float for further process. If you accept the seat allotted to you then pay the seat acceptance fee through net-banking. Then report to the reporting center for document verification. After verification visit the college for further verification and admission fee. Documents (original and photocopies) required are provisional allotment letter, 10th, 12th marksheet and passing certificate, JEE main score card and admit card, Birth certificate, Domicile if required and 3 passport size photographs.

Ece is the best department. Students to Teachers ratio is about 4:1 in ECE. Very helpful teachers. Professors are top-notch. Exams are hard but don't worry, professors teach in such a way that it will be piece of cake.

Faculty members are the best part of the rise of the university. From health issues to family issues and providing opportunities, they help the students in all fields. The course curriculum is perfect. Hope to see all the students in the best professions.

A placement drive is conducted every year in the college. many companies visit the campus like cognizant, IBM, TCS, Infosys etc. The highest package goes up to 200000 per annum and the average goes up to 4 lakh per annum. The placement ratio is also good as 80% of the students get placed every year.

My primary reason for choosing Sikkim Manipal University was that this was the best University I was getting close to my home with my JEE Mains rank. This is actually great for me as SMU is ranked 8th in India among private universities (and I always wanted to live in the hills). I checked the cut-off for the JEE Mains Score in at their website www.smu.edu.in and then applied. I think their minimum eligiblity was a Pass in (10+2) or equivalent with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry or Computer Science or Biology as one of the optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. This was an easy target to meet, I think and got selected soon after in their merit list.

I am a resident of sikkim and SMU is recognized as the best college here in my place. It has two campuses, one in gangtok and one in Magitar. BBA courses are offered in Magitar. For the admission, I applied from the college office. It is also available online and the cost of the application fee is Rs 1000. The seats are all based on merit. A minimum of 50% in class 12 result is the criteria. It also has a personal interview in which basic questions like why do you want to study here? or why did you opt for this course was asked to me.

I gave my graduation from SMU and so i decided to study further in the same college. The admission procedure to study here is very simple. I filled up the application form and submitted all the necessary documents i.e my 10+2 marksheets, my graduation marksheets along with my personal details and a fee of rs 1000. The forms are available online as well as offline in the campus office. It is on the basis of merit but personally i felt anyone can join this university whose average percentage is above 45%. There weren't any personal interview for me.

I belong to sikkim and SMU is one of the best colleges to study in my state. I also took up BBA because it offers a lot of opportunities in corporate sectors and finance as well. The admission is totally based on merit, in which my class 12 marksheets had to be at least above 55%, followed by a personal interview. The application forms were available online as well as offline and it cost me Rs 1000.
