SASTRA Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students of the fourth year that is in their 7th semester are eligible for the campus placements. There are a lot of companies which come for recruitment from adobe Microsoft google Amazon PayPal TCS and much more. TCS is the mass recruiter of our college.

Firstly I didn't decided this college but my jee mains percentile is not so good to get tier 1 college like nits and other good technical colleges so I started to researching about different colleges which consider jee mains score so I got to know about this college this college is affordable and also have quality education and good placements so I choose this college.

In 6 semester students will become eligible for attending interviews in clg placements companies offered are tcs google mahindra and some other best companies. No. Of offers are based on the company.. 42lac highest ,avg.3lac

In Thanjavur,this university has good name and give qualified education also have good infrastructure in both campus. I prepared for NEET 2017 so i just applied for microbiology course because i dont believe in NEET exam results so i applied for a course then i join the college now 3yrs are passed like a clouds,good Atmosphere at there.It have choice based credit system.Although SASTRA main campus placed in NIRF ranking. It also have a some bad experience some faculty are very strict and put a favorism on other peoples. Main bad thing is timing of the classes because the starting time is 8.45 and finish in 4.15 or 5.15(depend on the timetable). Arts and science Admission procedure is done by mark obtained in HSC if u have high marks in HSC u easy get a which course u want but u score low marks u will call by them very late if any seats available there. I refered if you want to join in this university then you will join you ready for all rules and regulations then you will be join here. I got to know about this university from my friends. So I searched about the university in several websites and got to know about the admission process. First we have to submit an application form available in their website and pay application fees. Then they will shortlist the students based on 12 th and jee mains marks and release a rank list. They will announce counselling dates based on ranks. There will be no entrance exam and all.I preferred this college as it is one of the highly ranked universities in India.

It is one of the best deemed Universities in India whose ranking is almost equal to NIT's. It offers courses at low cost with all the facilities similar to NIT's. Infrastructure and curriculum is really good

I found that the review of the university is very good. I searched about it in many sites and talked with the passed out students and the seniors about the university. The response is positive. The college is a little strict compared to others and also well disciplined. The ranking is very good. Placements are good. The only negative thing people find about the college is there is no hostel facility. But there are many hostels around the college. So hostel is not a big issue.

7th semester onwards placements are eligible Banks , law firms , and some startups and alsO MNCs 6.5 - 12lacs per annum 90% Job

I have applied for the best universities in india I have given my BITSAT, jee mains and jee advanced but I was not able to get the college that I really wanted. So I got cse in sastra university there by I choose to go with it.

Excellent placement opportunities, outstanding curriculum, discipline among students, culture, Infrastructure, Good lab equipment, Importance to practical learning. Plesant Climate. Students get lots of opportunities for self improvement in the form of various teams, clubs, fests. All the fests are organised by students. Every aspect of the fest is handled by students. Students get exposure to various skills and talents.
