SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

My overall experience about university is good. I would like to convey that SRM provides a hell lot of opportunities to each and everyone of the University. It depends on us to move out of our comfort zone and churn something out of it to get a sweet taste of success at the end.

My overall experience in this campus till now is good. Well one cant vouch these days..Touchwood. But I would like to add that SRM is actually a good college if you use each and every amenity to its fullest and SRM nurtures talent and has the potential of being one of the best universities in India.

The college is for the people who have ample money and for the students who cannot get admissions in any of the college in India

My overall experience is nice . It's not like the one they show in the movies , but you have complete freedom to explore yourself. Except the placement , the University is quite good but there are still room for improvement on which they are working everyday

Teaching is of a high standard with smart classes and by well experienced teachers, high tech labs with all equipment are provided.Lots of societies and clubs are there at the college.The overall experience is very good.

The placement scenario is good. if you studied well and have good scores in 4 yrs curriculum no doubt you will get a placement, mostly TCS, CTS, WIPRO, Infosys are major companies who recruit in bulk. The average package is 3 Lac.

In engineering CSE is the branch for which the highest number of companies come (around 150). Almost 90% of the students gets placed from the total number of students sitting for placement. MNC's like Simon's , Sap Labs, HUL, My Sigma,etc are frequent visitors. Average package of the college is 5-6 lakhs

Saying in lue, this university is just perfect for academics, extra curricular or for whatever field a student wants to go for.

The overall college experience is very awesome and I am developing my self day by day. First while entering the college i felt very insecure because here most of the students will be from north india and they have different cultures but later on i made many friends and I am now very happy to learn here. The only bad remark here is that the students missuse the freedom provided by the college. Many students get addicted to drugs, smoking and drinking habits which lead to spioling of the students life and dreams.

I don't have much knowledge about the ongoing campus placements but we were informed during the orientation that the highest package last year was 16.9lakhs and the major companies also include google Microsoft and Amazon.
