VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements of VIT vellore, is advertised to be a 100%, but this is only true as the placement examination which is a whole seperate exam unique to placement services are held and those are what you need to pass to even sit for placements.

The courses are offered via FFCS in which we choose our subject and teacher, the courses are very well pplanned with giving both theoritical and practical knowledge. Though there is a lot focus on quiz and assignment then any other thing, which can be tough.

From 6th or 7th semester most of the students go for the placements in the campus.I can't tell you precisely about this as I am the 2nd year student but I have heard from my seniors about this and they are pretty satisfied with their placements and said that many companies visit the campus for the on-campus placements. Highest package was 1 cr last year to two students and average package goes around 8-9 lakhs per annum. My plans after getting degree are to go to the placements.

The number of exams should be less . There should be only 2 exams in each semester i.e. Mid term exams and final sem exams . As the first semester is easier than other semesters still it is hectic for students . Teaching method of some facilities are quite impressive . VITian and other apps and websites like VTOP are available which helps students.

Students are applicable for placement from 6th semester. There are several companies that come for placement and offers good packages to students of average of nearly 6lpa and many people try to go to higher studies also.

Course curriculum follows and covers all integral and precise components related to the respective streams. Course structures get branched into cores and subcores as one progresses further into the discipline. Newer areas such as discipline electives and cores spring up which focus particularly on the core parts of the stream in an attempt to enforce proper knowledge of the subject into the students' mind. Teaching methods are hybridised, embibed with a touch of both digital and age old whiteboard teaching tactics. Quizzes and Digital Assesments are conducted regularly in order to keep a check on the students' in depth knowledge about the particular subject

from 4th year onwards students become capable of placements and you can get into internships fro. 2nd year . Companies like accenture, apple ,microsoft , motorq visit vit for placements.the average package is about 9.9 lakhs per annum and highest package till date is 1.2 cr per annum.

As far my knowledge, students become eligible for campus placements after 6th semester. According to official page of VIT Vellore in Linkedin, as of 10th December 2024, 10458 offers are made from 409 companies. The highest package was somewhere around 1cr/annum bagged by 2 students from CSE. Average package would be somewhere around 9-10 LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue higher education, especially from abroad.

The placements are available from 7th sem Many companies like google and microsoft etc visit the campus the highest package is 1cr and the average is 10lpa majority studetns get placed and other go for higher studies i will also go for highr studies

On the basis of past year limca book of world record data and the review from the seniors, Vit never fails in giving placements. In every field let it be computer or mechanical or whatever it is Vit never fails in offering placements as it is also tied up with big industrial companies like Volvo, rane nsk and many more
