VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

College is good and infrastructure in s best. Faculty is best and students and teachers are more cooperative which give free atmosphere to improve our talents.

I have joined this college by the entrance examination VITEEE... which is conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology.. and there was an interview process that was followed to get admission into this college.. as it is one of the prestigious colleges in India have chosen to join this college.

Approx 90 % of students who registered for placement, be placed. Almost every company comes like Flipkart, Microsoft, Tata Motors, Honda, Wipro, TCS, HCL, etc. The average package is 4-5 lakh per annum.

every student will get placed about 97% average package we can't judge like that if you are good you can get 1l if you are very week 30k

Placements are good with avg 6-8 LPA. Companies with 10+LPA and 20+LPA also come in good numbers. They include Amazon, PayU, Intel, etc. Others: Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, etc., and many startups.

Here you will get everything you want and it will help you to be successful in the future. All here depend is the money. There are some rules which are great and should be there in the college and some are stupid rules.

They are many people and cons for a particular institute or college. So we cannot take them into existence. There are not many remarks about our college. Wondering is damn fine and okay.

Here I am in my home country after my A'level Exams (12th Class) thinking where I would go and study since I wanted to study abroad. I went from agent to agent and buy the grace of God came by a past week local newspaper advertising that that same day a Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University) International students Director would be having a counseling session. Immediately I got up and almost missed him by an hour. I got to know about all the courses, the tuition fees, living style. Basically, I had all my questions answered enough to make a decision there and then. I filled in the application form and left copies of my transcript. A few days later, I wrote to them, because I was anxious to know if I had qualified. So they told me they were still evaluating my results and would get back to me. Finally, after 2 weeks of thinking that I actually had not made it, I got a response with a provisional letter. I had chosen the Bachelor of Commerce(Computer Applications). I preferred the course since it combined my area of interest Business and Accounting with the basis of technology through Computer Applications. Fortunately, it proved to be a great choice for my career.

Overall we have a good experience with a huge campus and a peaceful atmosphere. There are trees all around where we can sit and study peacefully. We also have a huge library.

Well for a hostellers we have a compulsory Bio metric attandece in night .and the entry in hostel is only upto 9:00pm. Also if you want to go out for trips u have to file a leave request .which will be approved by your Procter after he talks to your parents . Bad for students good for parents.
