They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
*there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.

Dislikes

The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

Lush greenery and serene environment and peaceful

Campus infrastructure and facilities. Toilets and sanitation

Course Curriculum Overview:

First year course is totally irrelevant except a few of the topics. I'm a CSE fresher why the hell are they making me study Distaster management, graphics and random physics chemistry topics. The course structure needs refurbishment according to latest industry requirement.

All about NIT Agartala.

Likes

The college has a beautiful green campus.
Girls boys Ratio is also good which stands around 1:3
All types of lab for different branches are allowed and there are many M.tech and PhD scholars.

Dislikes

The main city is very far from here and availability of vehicles in emergency is very low.

Placement Experience:

Here from 7th semester students are eligible for placement. The placement scenerio is good. Many companies like Larsen and turbo, Tata powers, Deloitte come here to take students for placement drive and they get good package somewhere ranging from 7,00,000 to 20,00,000 per year. The percentage of students getting placed is more than 85%. And my plan is also to take a good placement.

A comprehensive review of NIT Agartala

Likes

Beautiful campus, it's scenic beauty with lush greenery and modern architecture
A large and well stocked library with digital resources,book, novels and journals
Sports complex, facilities for cricket, football and indoor games

Dislikes

Internet speed on campus sometimes been inconsistent, particularly in hostels
Outdated syllabus and placement in core fields compare to IT is poor
Fee structure have gradually increased

Placement Experience:

Students participating in placement are around 800 and 680+ getting placed. Companies like tata motors, l&t, Bharat petroleum, Capgemini, oracle, and Google. Students are eligible for campus placement starting in 3rd year only. Students with higher cgpa and strong skills especially in branches like CSE, ECE and EE tend to secure better placement

Life at NIT-A

Likes

The college has a lush green campus and a clean surroundings. It is away from the noise of town.
All the stuffs & seniors are very helpful.
The competitive environment of the college encourages the students to learn new skills & earn knowledge.

Dislikes

There are lack of infrastructure compared to others NITs.
Some stuffs don't deal with student in a appropriate manner.
Very few dream companies come for placement as compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Placement facility of NIT Agartala is good. There is proper independent cell (CCD) to take care of the placement related everything. From the very first the college makes us ready for placements. Almost more than 90 percent students get placed.

NIT Agartala Review

Likes

The campus is very beautiful with lush green trees
There are many places to visit inside the campus

Dislikes

The rampant internal politics that is an open secret at this point.
The higher ups should be more resonant with the student grievances
The slow management and non chalance of staffs

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered,but due to the prevailing bad market conditions, the placements are not that lucrative. I hope it heals in the near future. Prior to covid, many companies used to visit and almost everyone from the top branches would get placed.

Likes

Since it is a NIT almost 80 % students get placed for sure.
The campus is very beautiful with lush greenery
There is place to showcase every talent that students have

Dislikes

Course curriculum is slightly outdated like other government colleges
Few professors might not be able to communicate the complete knowledge that they have
Certain things can be affected for it being in North eastern india

Placement Experience:

Companies do visit the campus for internship as well as placements. Almost 80% students get placed in companies. Companies like Google, Oracle, Ashok Leyland, TATA chemicals and other renowned companies also visit the campus for placement and internship drives.

Training and Campusing

Likes

The greenery all around me was so satisfying and brings a peace of mind. it has an amazing environment and amazing culture, fest etc.
Supportive teachers , avg classrooms, daily cleaning of halls and rooms good canteens and mess food is also good . New Hostels are clean and acceptable. big playground and other sport complexes
Placement is good , many companies are coming and many students are getting jobs.

Dislikes

Lack of instruments for practice and lab experiments.
A long distance from department building to hostels.
some roads inside the campus like are not good like the road to the sport complex , some of the facilities inside complex are still in development condition.

Placement Experience:

1. Placement is good till now above 85% of my batchmates are placed in normal, standard and dream tier jobs. 2. From 3rd placement comes and full back to back drives occurs in 4 th year. Students in any SEM after 1st year can apply for only research internship, or any other paid internship (off campus + on campus). 3. Recently visa came with a package of 44Lpa. 4. other companies like o9, Deloitte, Tata, scaler, LnT infotech, Suzuki, Accenture, lens kart, Amazon, Flipkart and many more

Look at NITA

Likes

The size of the campus is vast. The campus is very pretty inside out
Location is very peaceful. It is in the outskirts
Cooperative faculties. The professors in our department are very good

Dislikes

Question pattern is not easy for many subjects
Though I have not taken hostel, as I have seen, the hostel premises are too bad
We are not getting a good CGPA so may be it will be difficult for placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. Around 80 percent of the students from my department get placed every year and I have not really thought what I would do incase I don't get placement

National Institute Of Technology Agartala from a students pov

Likes

College surroundings and infrastructures.
Faculty members are well versed with their course.
Labs are well equiped with equipments and lab technicians.

Dislikes

Connectivity from city is tough due to less availability of transport.
Courses are lengthy wrt other universities.
Official works are time consuming, mostly offline.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Reliance, Tata, L&T, Deloitte etc visited. Highest package 52 Lpa, Average 7 Lpa 80% Students getting placed I am planning for joining the job I got.

"Good, but can be better"

The sheer size of the campus and the infrastructure
Most of the clubs created by students seem informative and helpful
The hostel facility of 1st year is especially good

Dislikes

The classrooms of first year need some improvement
The infrastructure for production and mechanical engineering is below average
Internet facility in the hostel is unusable and must be improved

Placement Experience:

Overall, campus placements in my college are average. The placement depends on the branch of the student. If you are from a circuital branch, the placement is above average with respect to most colleges in India. And core opportunities are good enough to settle in a government job. Percentage of placements was approximately 65% last year which is not too bad considering the economic recession. My plan after getting the degree is to get some work experience in "big-tech" and go for masters in a foreign country.

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala

Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.

Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
