JIIT Noida Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 6th semester onwards placements start and mainly students get placed in mass recruiters like Infosys, Cognizant, DXC etc. Nearly 4 lakh packages but there are many students who get packages as high as 40-50 lakhs too. It all depends on the candidates. For the Computer Science department, there is a huge pool of companies visiting and one can easily get a job of around 7-10 lakh average package. There is very less number of companies visiting for electronics students. I myself want to pursue a higher degree so I am out of placements.

This was better than the NITs that i was getting according to my ranking. Being in Noida, a lot of good companies come for placements here. It's also consistently the best University in Noida so that helps a lot from visibility standing to companies.

the university has a 92% placement ratio with tech companies like adobe and amazon coming on campus and students get offers from other FAANG companies via off-campus placements though the avg CTC is about 4LPA the highest on campus reaches 40+LPA and the majority of non-mass recruiters offering CTC of 12LPA. the univ also provides a platform for students to apply for an internship in companies like Dw Shaw and INuit

Faculty, Infrastructure, Placement support, Better than private colleges and other NIT in the same group. The feedback was really good with respect to other private institutions and NIT's. The bad aspect was that it good for its Computer Science program not others.

The placements are good for everyone. The basic criteria for sitting in the placements is that you need to have a minimum of 6 CGPA. The students are eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th semester. Average Packages are for 4 LPA and no limit for the highest if they find you suitable for the job.

Talked to some seniors studying in the college via Linkedin, and got to know that it has a good coding culture and societies. It has a good reputation among tech companies and the placements were good. Read various reviews on college websites like college duniya and shiksha. Watched various youtube videos showing the campus life.
