Placement Experience:
There were around 110 companies that came in for the final placements such as IT, Microsoft, Google, IBM, Loreal, Philips, Amazon, Boston Scientific, L&T, etc. The highest domestic package was 46.5 lakhs and highest international package was 75 lakhs while average package was 20.5 lakhs. Majority students got PPOs from the companies they did their summer internship with. Fields offered were consulting, IT, telecom, FMCG and BFSI among others. The placement record is 100% placements.

Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for placement after 4th trimester and there are many companies visiting the campus. All the top tier companies from FMCG, branding, Consulting, BFSI etc were available with us and the highest package that was offered in our batch was 1.2 CR. The average placements for our year were 16.9 LPA with 100% placements secured by the MBA students.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for summer placements from the first trimester only, and for final placements in the 5th trimester. According to the placement report of last year, almost 130 companies have visited the campus and more than 200 offers have been made. The highest package offered last year was somewhat around 46 lakhs in the trade domain. 100 percent placements is there, so all the students get placed. My plans after degree will be to work in the financial domain for some years and then move to a consulting role.

Placement Experience:
Initially, we have a summer internship in which approximately 100 to 120 companies visit campus offering various roles ranging from finance, marketing, general management to consulting, IT, and various others. The placement for IIFT happens for both the campus together. Essentially Kolkata peeps travel to Delhi for their placements. The average stipend varies from 80k to 90k per month approximately. And the highest is around 1.6 lakh per month. IIIFT has 100% placements and many top companies visit the campus.

I was highly entitled to study about international trade. Hence I chose IIFT as my alma mater. Also it was the best option available to me hence I chose it. Plus I also converted iim Indore and many new and baby IIMs.

After graduating engineering with 75% grades, I decided to do MBA from a highly reputed college. i then applied for many colleges including IIFT. Firstly a written test was conducted where the candidate has to qualify to move forward with the procedure. after i qualified the written test, i was later called for further round like essay writing, group discussion and personal interview. These three rounds were conducted in the month of January. And fortunately I qualified all the three rounds as well ad got myself shortlisted for the admission.

I have attended various management exams, including the IFT entrance exam. IIFT does not accept entrance tests like CAT, XAT, and MAT. I got admission based on my IIFT score. The counseling process, including the interview round, went smoothly, and I was asked to pay the fee after the document check.

I have applied for MBA through online application form. My IFT test score is excellent because the admission process is very simple, and it went smoothly. I attended group discussions and individual interviews. Thanks to my coaching institute that prepared me for interviews and entrance exams, I cleaned up all the jobs easily.

Could you please provide unbiased reviews of MDI, NITIE and IIFT Kolkata?

Most of the people have suggested that overall all the three colleges are good and you will not be facing any problem if you take admission in any one of them. The NITIE College is good operations management, MDI is good for General management and Human resource management and IIFT is good for International trade. So, it depends upon you which branch you are interested in.
The overall reviews of these colleges are as follows:
MDI:
- This college is fairly consistent in getting top 10 rankings.
- There are various kinds of live projects in the college which will help you in understanding the working culture in the corporate industry. Some of this live project will also allow formulating business strategies.
- You will be having access to great infrastructure such as Bloomberg terminal and EuroMonitor database.
- Along with the vibrant campus you will also be getting right guidance from Professors like Prof Bakshi , Prof Chatterjee and Prof. Mitra who will help you in getting the right path.
- You will also be getting great placement opportunities in various fields.
NITIE:
- Operations management in this college is very good.
- It is located in Mumbai and because of this location that will get lots of live projects in the industries.
- The college also provides good placement in the field of supply chain management, operations management, etc.
- This college also has a good alumni base. There is not much flexibility in the placements and the rest depends upon you.
IIFT Kolkata:
- It is one of the greatest colleges with economics and trade as its pillars.
- If you are looking for branches like international business and operations management then this is the best college.
- There is a slight disadvantage between Kolkata and Delhi branches but the placements in both locations are similar.

Overall IIFT-K is only good for trade and economics. For placements in finance, marketing and consulting roles MDI is a much better college than IIFT K and for operations management, NITIE is the best.
