Good institute for international business

Admission:

Entrance exam for IIFT is held which has separate marking in Written Exam, essay, conference and private interview is conducted for final selection. I chose IIFT over others as it offers a good curriculum. Every subject is treated with a top-notch thing.

I'm satisfied with the facilities

Admission:

I applied for an MBA through a web form. The admission procedure was simple and it went smoothly on behalf of me, as my IIFT exam score was excellent. I appeared for the conference and private interview. I cleared all the steps with ease, because of my sister help who told me how to give interview rounds and also because of the entrance examination.

Remarks:

The college is a prestigious insitute ranked 31 in the top B- schools by NIRF 2019.The facilities orovided by the college are exceptionally good and the students who pursue their education in this college get well settled and earn respect and reputation in their career fields.

IIFT College Review

Admission:

My admission process for the MBA program in IIFT involved clearing the entrance exam. The entire selection process was executed as per the test results of the exam. I had to give an essay writing test and then a GD round. My final selection was based on these rounds. Also, they checked my academic score until now. I received an intimation letter with my registered email ID and that was the last part of the process.

My PhD Experience in IIFT

Admission:

I applied for my Ph.D. examination and got shortlisted. I was asked to appear for a written test after clearing which I had to appear for an interview. After that, all my research experience, academics, work experience, and every other detail were scrutinized. As soon as this process got executed, I was called for other processes like fee submission and seat confirmation.

Admission:

My admission procedure was simple, I had an undergraduate degree in BA economics so the college conducted an entrance exam and I got qualified for it. The entrance was on the basis of Written test, Essay write-up, Group Discussion and Personal interview. Then I completed the documented procedure and got admission in this college.

IIFT has recorded 100% placements every year with visiting companies in the domain of Marketing, HR, Finance, and Analytics hiring in great numbers.
There are more than 100 companies that offer internship roles and the median stipend is 1.6 lakhs for 2 months.

Most of the people have suggested that overall all the three colleges are good and you will not be facing any problem if you take admission in any one of them. The NITIE College is good operations management, MDI is good for General management and Human resource management and IIFT is good for International trade. So, it depends upon you which branch you are interested in.

The overall reviews of these colleges are as follows:

MDI:

This college is fairly consistent in getting top 10 rankings.
There are various kinds of live projects in the college which will help you in understanding the working culture in the corporate industry. Some of this live project will also allow formulating business strategies.
You will be having access to great infrastructure such as Bloomberg terminal and EuroMonitor database.
Along with the vibrant campus you will also be getting right guidance from Professors like Prof Bakshi , Prof Chatterjee and Prof. Mitra who will help you in getting the right path.
You will also be getting great placement opportunities in various fields.

NITIE:

Operations management in this college is very good.
It is located in Mumbai and because of this location that will get lots of live projects in the industries.
The college also provides good placement in the field of supply chain management, operations management, etc.
This college also has a good alumni base. There is not much flexibility in the placements and the rest depends upon you.

IIFT Kolkata:

It is one of the greatest colleges with economics and trade as its pillars.
If you are looking for branches like international business and operations management then this is the best college.
There is a slight disadvantage between Kolkata and Delhi branches but the placements in both locations are similar.
