IIT Kharagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are the sexiest thing about my college. Placements are the only thing our youth target for. Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Jane Street, Goldman Sachs are the companies, which offer placements around 1 CR per annum.

Excellent course curriculum and I chose this course because I wish to work in quant companies and hopefully they take students from mathematics and Computing. Faculty is really experienced and all exams are taken on time

The course is excellent as it gives opportunity in working in different fields like electronics, electrical, computer science etc and the placement of the course is also very great. The faculty of the course is also amazing as they are all PHDs from different IIT's

Generally there will be internship opportunities from the third year onwards Many MNCs like Google, Microsoft ,Tech Mahindra, Apple, visit the college and many people are given internship opportunities My plans after getting a degree are to explore the Business and Management side as well so that it will help

Placements are very nice.....each year we get around 1000 offers and companies like Google Microsoft Apple visit our campus every year. Eighth semester students are allowed in Campus Placements. more than percent students get placed every yeat

From 3rd year students become eligible for placements and PPOs. There are many big companies visiting our college like google, apple, mackenzie, airbus etc. In 2022 total of 1600 offers were offered to students of different streams.Almost 85 percent of students are placed/.

The Placement Stats for our college is satisfying. This year, The highest package offered was 1.63 Crores and the lowest package offered was around 6 lakhs. Companies like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, and Graviton visit and offer around 10 jobs for various roles.

Placements are very good as you would expect from an IIT. Big companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, Flipkart , Amazon, Goldman Sachs, ITC, Texas Instruments, ISRO, DRDO, Oracle etc. Average package last year was 22.35 lakhs.

Placements of the college is quite good . If a do not get campus placement ,one vaible option is to pursue further education by enrolling in a Master's program in Computer Science . Many reputable instituions , including IITs,offer advanced degrees that can provide me with comprehensive knowledge and skills in computer science.

Students become eligible for placements onwards 3rd year they get to internships which are compulsory. THen in their (2n-1) semester they go through CDC which is official name for the placements in iit kgp. HIghest package is 4cr and lowest is 12 lpa so theres too much range also in recent years due to recession the placement scenario is a bit bleak.
