- All the big brands and big tech giants come to the campus for great opportunity opportunity for students you can apply for placements from the fifth semester itself.
- College provides a lot of scholarships like merit cum means scholarship, inspire scholarship, and fee waiver scheme.
- The faculty members are really good as they are great researchers in their respective fields.
Dislikes
- But, if we talk about scholarship then it's a bad news that there is no institute scholarship for unreserved students but u can get it for other organisations like nsp.
- The hostel rooms are also not good enough and lack cleanliness sometimes and have broken chairs/ tables, etc. at times.
- The academic workload can be sometimes demanding, not always but sometimes, leading to stress and pressure among students.

Placement Experience:
Placements are very good, especially for my branch and curriculum. You can also get placements abroad. I plan to have a decent job after graduating from Indian institute of technology kharagpur. Nearly all students get placed.

- It is too big campus travelling from some place to othere takes time
- Infrastructure is old they should change it
- Rooms should be re painted fans should be cleaned
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students gets eligible for placements there are lot of companies that which visit our college like google , amazon, bmw, mecerdes, audi, flipcart, mytra etc the highest package offered is 1.62 crores and average is around 20 lakh almost all students gets placements around 80% students gets placed
My plan after getting degree is to get a high paying job in some good company

- The senior-junior relation in the colllege is very better.
- the society culture of iit kgp is the best thing here.
- The oldest largest and greenest campus make it an absolute beauty

- there are a lot of students in the campus, which actually make things more competitive in a already competitive society
- the mess food is not up to the mark and really needs a upgrade
- the weather is actually unpredictable and could rain anytime

The placement process starts in the seventh semester and enough rounds of placements are conducted to get you a job. The jobs are offered in almost all roles, and around 80 percent students achieve a job.

- 180 Degrees Consulting and other finance based clubs.
- Sports and game facilities. Exquisite sport gear is available to the students.

Dislikes
- Food. Mess food is barely edible. Have to digest it anyhow.
- People. Some people are really rude especially those with attitude of being in an IT.
- The weather is really unpredictable. It gets too hot, too cold and it may start raining anytime.
Placement Experience:
My seniors got placed. But the placement numbers have gone down significantly over the years. Mostly circuital branches are offered the packages ranging from crores for cs students while industrial students also get good placement. Other core branch students tend to go more towards the it sector.

- college campus is beutiful and biggest campus in india.campus life is amazing and facinating.there are meny fest which are very joyfull and there many events which are very enjoyable.so campuss life is amzing in iit kgp.
- facult are also good but i think it cold be better in iit . but still they are very qualified and intelligent.infrastructure is also good and huge which consist of ol d nad new .it is very modern infrastructure which makes it best in india.
- coureses offered are mainly btech , mtech ,bs ,ms phd ,llm etc.these courses are offeresd in many field such as cs , mechanical , chemical , civil, etc so courses are offered in wide range..
Dislikes
- the campus is huge so travelling time in campus is high which needs very enery and time.
- the campus is quite crowded due to so many coureses offered.
- college location is also not that much nice as it is far from city and not near any major tourist places.
Placement Experience:
placements are really good from campus.in 7th semester students are eligible for placements.there are thousands of companies which visit campus such as google , microsoft , amazon , tcs etc .highest package is 2.4 cr and average package is 19 lacks per annum .83% of students gets placed in campus placements.I will may be prepare for civil services or i will go for placements.

- The societies are very active and helps students to socialize
- Seniors are very very kind and helpful to juniors
- The campus is big and there's so much to explore.
Dislikes
- Too many things happen at once so it's difficult to attend all
- Managing time here is little hard and sometimes it gets overwhelming
- Doesn't let you be lazy.youre always engaged in something
Placement Experience:
There will be internships given from 5 semester to students and placements will be done after 7th semester. We have career developement centre here which takes care of the whole process of placement or internship of a student. Highest package is 2 crore

- Many Intelligent and talented people out here to interact with.
- Great Senior and Junior interaction culture. No ragging at all.
- Great placements which leaves us a bit stress free about landing a job.
Dislikes
- The professors are highly qualified but don't teach that we'll.
- Campus is too large so transportation sometimes becomes a hassle.
- The Hostel food can be improved a bit. There is room for improvement in that aspect.

Being one of the top institutes of India, IIT KHARAGPUR has great placements. The final year students are eligible for campus placements. Huge companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon offer packages of 40-60LPA . And the average package is around 15-18LPA. I have similar plans after getting my degree.

- It is in west bengal so it's very poverty around everywhere
- It's too far from the states so students have to face many problems in travelling.
- Due to poverty there is a less development in infrastructure

I have choose this course according to my passion. And because I also want to choose a circuital department so I choose electrical engineering. faculties are good enough but some are too strict but all the faculties are well qualified and well experienced.

- Accessibility from city is a bit difficult(kolkata)
Course Curriculum Overview:
All students of UG first year have to study under the same curriculum. Each section has around 6-7 professors who teach different subjects. Evaluation is done by taking mid semester, end semester and internal examinations.

- The things that I liked about iit is that here people are very friendly
- Here we have really good faculties and curriculum
- Also we have really good sports facilities
Dislikes
- I dont like is that due to huge campus we have to travel alot
- Also the mess food is not that good which i think can be better
- We have to give alot of exams and tests which i dont like as a student
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is quite good. We get to learn very much from our curriculum especially all the practical knowledge that Indian education system lacks. Also the faculty is very good and supportive , they clear all of our doubts
