Jadavpur University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement is very good in our college with 96% overall placement in 2023 session. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Thera are more than 100+ companies visit our college like Google, Amazon, Wells Fargo, Disney &hotstar , Deloitte, PWC, Airbus, Accenture, Samsung, etc giving 1250+ offers to 1000 students with Highest package from IT department (Google -1.8 Crore) . Average package of CSE and IT is 20lpa, for EE , IEE and ECE it is 16 lpa. The rest of other department have a average ranging from 10lpa to 8 lpa. Me after completing my degree eagerly waiting for a job in my dream company AIRBUS or PWC.

Average package of our department is about 15 lpa, moreover highest goes above 50lpa often. Texas instruments, Samsung, Qualcomm and many companies visit here for finding bright student ready for them. Above 90% students every got placed.

Students become eligible for campus placements after end of 6th semester. Major companies visited are Texas Instruments, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Deloitte, HSBC, IBM, Capgemini etc. The highest packages on campus are about INR35,00,000 per annum. The number of offers are greater than number of students and more than 90% students get placed. After getting a degree I am looking forward to higher education.

From 7 th semester students become eligible for the campus placements. Many companies including core companies like relience, Vedanta, Honeywell etc and non core companies like PWC , Accentuate etc. visits and in total of 100+ offers are given (including double offer). Highest package is approx 14 lpa and average is 8 to 9 lpa. Approx 90% students placed in placement season. I want to get on campus placement.

My decision on joining this curriculum is mainly based on the university's reputation. On studying in the university I concluded that it is the best for research and educational purposes. Frequency and timing of exams are perfect in the university.

Placement of the university is very good. The placement process is very opened to all students. The Placement Coordinator is choosen from the students. So there is no place of scam. Many company came to hire employee students from the university. You can get international placement. Multinational company also come to hire employee. Such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Texas Instruments, AirBus and many more.

Last of 3rd year students start to get placed. Many companies like Amazon, Deloitte visits the campus. No. Of offers made so far is 90. I don't know about the highest and lowest yet, this year's placement season is going on. 100% of eligible students get placed. No mass recruited placements. I am planning to get a job after the degree.

Jadavpur university is a tier 1 college.So,placement is outstanding here.Average package is 19 lpa for etce department. Great placement stats and internship opportunities are available here.250+ companies visited last year .

Students become eligible for campus placements in their final year of studies. However internship opportunities are available for 3rd year students. Microsoft, Amazon, Aecom, LnT, Samsung, IFDC Bank, HSBC Bank, Indian Oil, WBSEDCL, CESC, Pepsi, Texas Instruments, PWC, Deloitte, Schrodinger, Goldman Sachs, Flour Daniels, Netflix, Facebook are our regular recruitors among many others. Highest pay package is approximately 42 LPA and average is 12 LPA. All entry level and in some cases intermediate level job profiles are offered. Almost 80-85 percent students get placed with handsome pay package every year. After getting the degree I plan to grab a placement within the campus placement drive.

As far as I know, we have an internship session after the 2nd year and the other after the 3rd year. Last year the placements stood at nearly 100% so everyone gets placed who sits for the placement. Many students go for higher studies, mostly research.
