NIT Durgapur B.Tech Civil Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) is based on the JEE Main merit list, without the need for interviews or group discussions. For general category students, eligibility requires a 75% minimum in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in CBSE exams. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority conducts counseling in up to nine rounds. A JEE Main score of around 200 and a board score of 90+ can secure admission. NIT Durgapur’s faculty is highly qualified, with many holding degrees from IITs and foreign institutions, maintaining a faculty-to-student ratio of about 1:4.

The curriculum supports competitive exams like GATE with a strict 75% attendance requirement.
