Falakata College offers undergraduate courses in Arts. It is affiliated to University of North Bengal. In order to get admission in this institution in BA hons history, the student should have completed class 12 with at least 45 percent marks and then they will have to apply and the students will be selected on merit basis.
Admission in Falakata College to all the under graduate courses B.A. General and Honors are conducted on the basis of merit in 10+2 examination. The entrance is purely merit based. The students are required to fill an online application form in order to reserve seat for admission.

First of all, you need to do online registration on the university's portal and fill the online admission form. After that, you need to pay the admission fees online. The verification of the documents would be done offline at the college and you need to carry a copy of the online admission form and the receipt of the payment.
In this college the admission process is stress-free, they only need a graduation certificate and mark sheet. A minimum of 50% is required in your graduation to get admission in masters. I had done a BBA in graduation.
Getting admission is not so easy, we have to work hard in our graduation and get a good score to get admission. The admission is based on my graduation and had to submit my documents for the process with a token of the fees.
Overall the university is good and the facilities provided are also satisfactory. The major advantage being the nominal fee it charges which enables every person to gain education and also scholarships for those who are needy and meritorious.
For my M.Sc program, the admission process included a written test and viva conducted by the university itself. 60% of the Pg seats are reserved for NBU college students and the remaining are for other universities.
After my intermediate, I decided to do M.Sc from a good college. I then applied for different colleges to pursue the course. My 10+2 grades were pretty good. Then i was called to appear for an entrance test conducted by the University of Bengal. The test was very basic and not very difficult for me. After comparing my intermediate scores and the entrance test scores, I was selected for admission.
After graduating from my B.Tech, I decided to do MBA. I appeared for various exams including CAT and my CAT score was around 80%. Then based on my score, I was selected by the University of North Bengal for admission into the course.
For admission I had to give a written test and then a viva. All of these were conducted by the University itself. Although, only 40% are for the universities other than their own, I was able to clear all the rounds and enter the course.
