8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Good interview

Likes

Proper way of teaching, every student have a group advisor through out the four years.
Many active communities like ieee ,asme ,sae and many more
Compared to other private college straightness is slightly low

Dislikes

Faculty members forced to follow Attendance strictly
Events are low during even and odd semester , the program baratham takes place once in two years
Collage is located in a rural region, bus services are low

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently the collage is not autonomous, so it follows ktu as curriculum the exams and syllabus are given by ktu university, the valuation is slightly strict and the results are published slowly and the exam time is also low.

Affordable compared to other aided colleges.
Brilliant friend group and opportunity to succeed better
Gives the best freedom than any other college in kerala.

Dislikes

You have to study by yourself. No spoon feeding and all.
Occurance of politics and political parties.
Located in slightly remote area and located slightly away from main city.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell here are very efficient and almsot everyone performing avg can get a placement here. You are given proper guidelines and placemnt trainings from 6th semester and you are being put on placemnt tests from 7th semester for different companies. Highest package - 39LPA AVERAGE PACKAGE - 8 LPA.

Likes

well experianced faculties and their service in some of the subjects.
well organised labs and oppertunities for expressing our practical skill along studies.
fully engaged shedule of classes and project works.

Dislikes

infrastructure is conjusted and is to be improved.
no venue for other extracarricular activities like arts etc.
college lie is too boring and nothing exatra is available in campus other than studying.

Placement Experience:

The placement begin to start from 3 rd year onwards from differant companies including tcs , vipro, tata ,jio, etc. the no of students who are studiying from cs branch are placed more than other branches . but recently 2 or 3 years electronics and electrical students are also in the list of placements. the placed students share their initial package starrs around 20000 rs and increasing. my plans after graduation is to secure a govt job.

I'm in 2024 curriculum it's just started now so it is little tough to understand how will the questions will come and alll Difficulty level of examination is medium if you prepare well u can pass the exam definitely

There are many technical and as well as technical clubs for the students, which provide better opportunities for them
Nature friendly campus which is 125 acres. In our department girls to boys ratio is almost 1:1.
Great alumni network us there. Also good faculties.

Dislikes

Need more development inside the campus. Also not so good classrooms and all.
Faculties are too strict during giving internal marks. They give internals as prescribed by ktu, but in other private colleges, they try giving students the maximum marks.
We will be stressful and tired most of the time. We should learn to remain emotionally stable to cope up with the college life.

Students become eligible for campys placement during 4th year, that is during the 7th semester. Amazon, wipro, infosys, texas instruments, Schneider electric, tata elxsi, shobha constructions etc are the top recruiters. 2000+ offers are made from more than 200 companies. Highest package was 33lpa. Average 6 to 7lpa.

RIT: the opportunities for achieving the dreams.

Likes

Good physical education department.Gym facilities are available .
Good library blockand each departments has its own separate library facilities
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology has good college vibes

Dislikes

Amenity room in some departments are not that good
The bus services is very much in poor condition.
The sports facilities in our institute lacks many facilities.

Placement Experience:

Placements opportunities are good.We are eligible to appy for placement from seventh semester onwards.Top companies which come here involves L and T,G10X ,Infosys. Around fourty students gets placed every year.

The memories about CEC

Likes

The faculties in the college are perfect aand they are making interesting inthat subject
Many number of students are placed every year with high salary packages
They provide various gidd scholarships for students with good mark.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure are very limited
The college spacial arrangement is very poor for athletics students
For some specific branches, the placements are very high

The college was very excellent in academics,and also it has various events for students to participate. They teach students always in a professional manner. It also provides training for better performance in placement recruitment.

Likes

The internship opportunities provided by my college are good.
The placements provided by the college are good.
The institution is old and has a good name.

Dislikes

The teachers and the college itself provide no autonomy tostudents.
Self learning by students at their own pace is not encouraged.
The college infrastructure is little outdated.

Placement Experience:

Semester 6 onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Most good tech companies provide placements. Some of the companies are google , microsoft, l&t, marico, wipro, amazon, infosys, tata consultancy services.

Likes

The college has a lot of cultural and technological fests conducted by students and teachers every year.
Every faculty in the college are well educated and they teach very efficiently.

Dislikes

There are dogs wandering in the college (not so many,but some) .
The departments are situated far from each other .Each departments are some distance away from each other (almost 200m).

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is actually trash.This university doesn't follow it.The curriculum is vital for us but the portions are more diluted.The semester end in 3 months or 4months for 6 months . And almost students attend 3 semesters in one year .

About CEC

Likes

Campus life at college of engineering chengannur is good. We feel so protective in the environment. But there are dogs every where that is a problem. Other wise campus life is beautiful.
People in the college are so kind and caring. I like the everyone in the college. Seniors are friendly. They dont treat us badly in any way.
Faculty is also good. Teaching staffs are also very friendly. We can approch them if we find anything hard.

Dislikes

Toilet are very bad here. Doors are not well functioning. And not so clean
Dogs are very were in the college. They are just wandering around the college. Eventhough it dont do anything it is difficult for some people
Academics are so good. But the problem is they only focus on it. There is no other fun programs provided by college.

Placement Experience:

From third year students become eligible for campus placements. The companies that visited college of engineering chengannur are IBM , UST, TCS, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, IPA PRIVATE LIMITED etc. Highest package is nine lakhs. And average package is about five lakhs and more. So many students are getting placed in different companies. There are many students placed at above mentioned companies. And i would also like to be placed in these companies.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
