8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

I like that there are a lot of clubs and things to do here
I like the seniors, they are very kind to us
People are very supportive here and provide a lot of oppurtunites

Dislikes

There are some teachers who are very entitled
The campus is very small compared to other campus
There are very few sports facilities available here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I already loved the idea of studying mechanical engineering few years back even though i knew nothing about it, i think it was just a feeling. We have a new scheme right now so idk how the curriculum is going to shape us but i will hope for the best. One thing is we have a lot of portions to cover but very little time to cover it, so thats a problem

College with nice pleasant atmosphere and academics but no placements

Likes

The facility is very friendly and supporting
The college campus is huge and very pleasant
The college management is not very strict

Dislikes

The facility will only guide you for your studies
There are only a few extra curricular activities
There is very few sports and games conducted

Placement Experience:

The companies that give campus placement are all marketing or call centre jobs. There are very few relevant companies that come to our college for placements. Most of the students apply for off campus placements. That is the most relevant way to get good placements.

It's a decent college

Likes

Natural environment and greenery of the campus
Friendly and helpful faculties and staffs
Peaceful and calm environment inside the campus

Dislikes

Facilities could be better and infrastructure is poor
Lack of technical and non technical fests and programs
Location of the collage makes it harder to access

Placement Experience:

On campus placements are okay. Most final year students with decent cgpa will be placed with an average package of 2 lpa . No big companies hold placement in our campus. There is option to get off campus placements and they do provide coaching for placement

Likes

College have mess facilities and one cafe indide college campus
College have bus for transportation facilities
College is at a hill and we have soany greenary

My home is far way from college it a lot of time to get in college
All The faculties are not so friendly and some are
College is run by college union members more than the principal

I choose b-tech as it is my ambition My aim was to become a software engineer So took the stream computer Science Examination conducted by the college is way too strict and it is held like university examination

Our campus greenary was so beautiful and awesome
Our college canteen was so nice and there was so peaceful
Faculty was soo friendly and provide college bus

Dislikes

Early morning class our time is 9.00am so dayscholars have some difficulty
Exams are coming faster in our 1st semester it is overload
Sitting afternoon lecture was so booring

Placement Experience:

Our college have a placement team for building the skill of each student's..they select some students they are capable to do any works and they gave a valuable training to them..they will provide lots of workshop and all .pas percentage of this college is more and after this course my plan is startup a company

A quick sneak peak to SCT College of Engineering

Likes

The college provides you with great oppurtunities to shine and expose your self.
The college atmosphere and environment are so calming and mind relaxing.
The faculties are very supportive and helpful. They are always willing to solve our doubts and concerns.

Dislikes

As it is a good college there is a great competiton between students.
Canteen facilities are not so good. they have the same meal menu for everyday.
Placement facilities for some departments are very poor as compared to the rest of the departments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curiculum provided by KTU is a bit tough . we face a serious issue with the tight schedules of exams like series exams 1 and 2. In my opinion the exam scheduled should be conducted prior to the commencement of classes whivh helps the students to prepare more efficiently and effectively.

Likes

Mentor provides internship opportunities after 1st year itself.
Really friendly and Experienced teachers.
The number of students in each class are very less.

Dislikes

There aren't many shops or restaurants nearby, so ordering food is difficult.
The labs need a lot of improvement, not many equipments
Situated in a rural area, making transportation difficult

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for internship from final year. Last year students were offered internship at Litmus7. The average pack is 6Lakhs per anum the college assures that above 90% students will get placed, and they make sure to do everything they can to help us with it.

A good environmental and bueatifull campus
Variety of courses including undergraduate and masters
Manyy bueatifull girls in our own classes

Dislikes

Canteen which has no options or good food
Very bad union which is irritating students
No greater spots to hangover with friends

They have different labs for each subject and there are special facualties for each lab . They have advanced and daily updated data for the perspective training of students which make them ready for real world

A Students Perspective

Likes

Location of the college is a holistic enviroment without minimal outside distubance.
Classrooms are innovative and advanced. Smartboard is provided in the classsrooms.

Dislikes

Hostel facilites leaves much to be desired.
Canteen food is not good. The hostel food is barely edible some days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the industry-relevant essential topics. The syllabus is innovative and up to date-with the current technology. There are industry visits so that our knowledge is always relevant.

Likes

The college has a pleasant atmosphere ,enhanced by its lush greenery
some faculties provide very understandable classes

Dislikes

transport facilities are less,so it is difficult to travel

campus placements take place after the 6th semester.Since we are the first batch of the college ,we can only confirm placement oppurtunities after our own placements. Since we are the first batch,i cannot provide any details about placements yet.

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur.
