8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Normally students becomes eligible for campus placements from S6. After completing the course a student can get placed in a multi national company with a good salary package. The college has offered a minimum of 6 lpa

Likes

The faculties are so good they taught us well
By taking civil engineering I get vast chances
The campus is so nice and full of greenery

I don't dislike anything about my college
I don't have any bad opinions about my faculties
I don't have any bad opinion about the infrastructure of my college

The placements is the main magnum opus of our college they offer us a great opportunities They have a really great role in moulding our future they really cares about our future so good I want thank our faculties for caring for us

I liked the nature of teachers and faculties
They provide with our course informations and about the path
The college provides with refresing water

Dislikes

Some students are not active and not attending the college programs
Some faculty of teachers does not provide accurate percentage of attendance
The college is not providing us time for more club activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which i very good and informative and it is easy to learn if you study frequently and the support the facilities provided is just astonishing as well we were able to score very good marks on all sub subjects

My personal college life experience at sset

Likes

More focus on skills of students is very much needed as ssset is great at tuition for students and help them acquire degree but not a good future with practical knowledge.
Festival are conducted very rarely and also not give as much importance for sports.
Great at providing tuition and clearing papers

Dislikes

Very bad management as they dont understand students
Dead college due to silence in campus during class and ragging is banned
Overall poor management and the boring nature due to no extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement are conducted in the college very often but the process for selection is ceey difficult as many of they are not prepared what to do at a job as lack of practical knowledge. I planning to join my fathers business

Our collage is Having good store facility for buying stationery materials
Our collage provide good food and drinks at low cost

Dislikes

It's too hard to walk to the collage because it is in top of hill.
There is no bus facilities for the students staying in outside hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As considering my course civil engineering the curriculum was a bit difficult but as compared to other it is so easy because it is based on the daily life practices or activity we are seeing.course should be moderate and curriculum should be moderate to the easy level for students convince to study.timing of exam should increase aa half an hour more to help us writing the exam more tension free.

Likes

Faculties are very good . Students and seniors in our college are very friendly.
Our campus is anti-ragging campus so that there is no issues present between students .
Campus is located in very peaceful ecco friendly place.

Dislikes

Students have lack of access to shops and other markets
College situated in hilltop so student get tired of getting classes
Students who come by private buses get tired walking upto the hill

Our college is providing wide opportunities for extracurricular activities in which both sports arts are included.
Various internships and hackathon opportunities
Store at our college is really helpful it provides all kind of stationeries in low price

Dislikes

College location is so far from town so it’s really hard to wind up on evenings after a stressfull day
Less hostel facilities near college so it’s hard for students who are so far from college

Placement Experience:

Starting from 7th sem our college offer placements.according to other nit iit and top government colleges our pass percentage and placement offers are really low . Only 30% students would get good placements and that will be according to our cgpa and skills.

A glimpse into gec

Likes

Raging free campus with a great atmosphere
Many programs are organised by different clubs
Along with technical workshops cultural events are also held

Dislikes

Facilities can be improved. The lab equipments are old and has to be changed
Facilities like incinerators are not available in every departments
Lack of advanced technical guidance, the lab practices are outdated

We have good placements. Many mncs come for campus placements to our college. In all of gec, electrical department has the highest placement with almost 90 percent placed. Companies include tcs, wipro, jsw, infosys, reliance etc

I got to study in pretty decent college under ktu and the staffs
The is little spacious not so much but still have some space to walk
The college provide bus for transportation

Dislikes

The is run by the union members more than the principal
All teachers aren't so friendly and they are so rude without any mean
The computers in the computer lab all are not working fine every time we go to the lab we have some circumstances with the computers

Students are eligible for campus section at the final year . So many companies visit colleges in online and offline way. Cgpa score is considered for placement selection. Minimum thirty five percentage Students may get placements

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
