8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

THE COLLEGE LIFE IN GECT THRISSUR

THERE ARE LOTS OF CULTURAL FESTS AND SO MUCH FUN ACTIVITIES
SPORTS GROUND ARE GOOD,AND THE BULDINGS ARE MEMORABLE
THE SENIORS AND STUDENTS ARE FRIENDLY,AND IT IS A RAGGING FREE COLLEGE

Dislikes

the faculties are boring ,and sujects like electronics are not teching anything
the concept of activity points is not good because ,if we are not getting enogh activity points we cannot pass outand it is difficult to get.
the rule of getting 75 percent attendence is not good as the students should be allowed to participate in various events

there are so many placement pakages like ,mahindra,mrf,apollo and all.and even if the collge doesnt offer placements ,by goin for club activities like we have a aclub names sae and my brother got placement in mahindra by going for the club competition like making a working car and compete other colleges

The faculty's are very experienced and they have a deep knowledge about the subject
College have a very good placement in the past years. And they provide very good support for matters related to placement
College conducts many programmes such a tech fests, arts and sports competition

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not that good. The lab facilities are limited
The have a low teacher to student to ratio.
College management always delay in informing the students about university updates

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum focus on topics which are applicable in real life like fundamental of computing etc. The exams are moderately hard. Some of the topics are really large and they dont have any practical applications.

A Deep view of Government Engineering College Thrissur

My college has a great exposure to technical as well as non tech activities. There are many active clubs for technical activities like IEEE, IEDC , IDEATOR which are mostly funded from government. They help us to develop a tech mindset and knowledge
The Society of Automotive Engineers ( SAE ) in my college is one of the top in the south entire South India. Mostly the best in Kerala.
The freedom to explore any field you want is the main beauty of our college. Aslo there are a tone of feats , the college is active everytime with many celebrations.

Dislikes

The old infrastructure in many labs is a main problem. Also some poor maintenance in some departments.
The Outdated syllabus provided by the university
The improper design of the curriculum which mainly focuses to stress out students rather than teach them something industry relevant.

Placement Experience:

Students gets interview calls in s7 and s8 ( last year ). Intership can be done from the third year onwards. The average package of EEE is 6 lpa. The highest was about 15 lpa. The highest in the college was 50 lpa , it was for a CS student. About 60 percent students attending placements will get atleast one offer.My aim is to secure a job right after btech

Oppertunities for all extracurricular activities, both in sport's arts and tech

College location which is very far from town

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this because of my interest in physics and maths and by thinking about the future Oppertunities after studying electronics and communication.our curriculum really prepares us in both technical and practical aspects of our field apart from theory subjects we are having life skill courses and several other extra courses which we should definitely take each semester.

A Review For My College

Likes

We have a very good faculty. They are really experienced and they know how to teach.
Our college provides a very good placement support. They give us training from the s1 semester itself
The college canteen and hostel provides good food and facilities

Dislikes

The college have a fair infrastructure but the lab facilities are limited
The college transportation system is not good
College management system is not that good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They conducts two series exam for every semester. The curriculum is good and its focusing on real life applications. Subjects like chemistry and physics have good lab experiments. They also conduct lab exams

A beautiful and appreciatable knowledge centre or library.
A good campus enclosure with environmentally feasible architecture.
No ragging or so reported by the students.

Dislikes

No promotion of language by the college faculties.
No implementation of events related to each departments.
No faculty assistantance for event creation.

College management is saying that they reached 90 percentage placement last year.Since the college is more focused on academics the rate of backpapers is less.I think this also reason for the higher placement rate.

Experienced and very well dedicated faculties. Faculties are very well discplined . They are solemnly commited to the course and sylabus completion.
This is a students run college. Every event in the college is conducted by students alone. Including tech fest.
The training and placement cell of the college is very active . It is also conducted by students and conducted in a very systematic way

Dislikes

EEE lab facilities are so poor. Not one proper lab is available.
campus life is not that great. Not many arts events are encouraged
Campus area is comparitvely less. Not enough space to sit and enjoy

Placement Experience:

I would say college placements are really good if you are looking for IT companies Core placements are very low. Electrical core placements are very rare , electronics core have much better placements. However 95% of students get placed if not in core then in software companies or in terms of internship

Class room is high advanced technology used
Hostel rooms and food is too good water heater
hostel food is one the best college hostel food

Dislikes

Faculty of Cse their not updated older aged women
Campus is too small that jejsb jerks beikelsn
Teachers are targeting and punishing the students and making students begging for their internal marks

Yes their are some placement interview and happen and that's it's like seminar and no technical section something their just asking take class and that's also not big company their just calling company and after the course is and need take any language in program need to study in simple way my seniors are says that the good way develop the skill and go caugh the opportunities

College has a good postive environment for studying.
College have a wide range of clubs so that wh can approach them and get hel in getting done our projects.

Dislikes

Campus spread accross 70 acres so that it's a bit difficult to travel to next department.

Placement cell is supportive and active. Many companies come to our college and almost every student get placed at core sector or at IT sector with minimum package of 3-5 Lakh per annum. Placement cell are also active.

Our beautiful college

Likes

I liked the climate and our college is so environment friendly. It has a very beautiful infrastructure.
Our college provide better water purifying system
Our campus is very clean. It's nature friendly

Dislikes

Our college is on a rural area so the transportation facility is poor
Since our college is in a rural forest area the attack and sighting of wild animals is bit scary
Our college is on a top of a mountain . Reaching there is quite risk for our students.

My course is very nice and i like it so much. All the faculties try their best to communicate with us. My course is litte tough but i like to study about the circuits and systems. It's really interesting
