8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

My college have a food campus beautiful green well maintained
Faculties are good and help us in building our carrier
Soo many internship programmes and all are provided by the college

Dislikes

College is little strict for first year students
Average for placement and all avg package was 2lk per annum
Need improvemts in clubs and events that's good for students

Placement Experience:

Placementa are average 20-60% are placed after course with minimum salary After 3rd year we are become eligible for placements Infosys Wipro bosch techmaheendra TCS etc are visited my college last year 50-60% are placed My plans after this is getting job fast and secure my career after some years I need to plan for a startup

My Life In College Of Engineering Vadakara

Faculties are sincere.Most of them are Highly qualifies and also guest teachers are good too.
As per the academics,method of teaching is good.All the topics are covered before the examination.
eco-friendy college.No nuisance in the college and great enviornment.Also cultural programs are conducted periodically.

Dislikes

Difficulty to travel from a city to my college.As my college is situated far remotely from any cities and the transport through public means are really difficult.
Poor lab facillities are a major issue..most equipment even are faulty or doesn't work.
poor hostel facility for boys..there is no government provides hostels for boys.

Placement Experience:

Placements are comparitively very low,with less salary packages.My plan is to try other placements outside my college too.not only in my core but also as a full stack devoloper in IT field. Student getting Placements are really low and the companies approach are comparitively low scale pay companies.Which reduces the interests for students to approach for a college placement.

The methond of teaching and the way they try to teach
The transport facilities,the college is in rural.area
The mobile network availability is very bad

Aiml is one of the most trending courses now.The college provides the best curiculum for real world applications or further academic pursuits.The classrooms could be imoroved and the teaching methods also could be improved

The average college

Likes

The whole campus is not so big but still big enough to walk around and chill when there is no class
The faculties are all nice except some of them don't genuinely know how to teach.
There is a huge ground where you could play football volleyball ball or even cricket

Dislikes

One or two teachers are actually very bad at teaching and have a bad attitude and brings the whole mode of the class down
The new principal almost conducts classes on every Saturday's
The food at the hostel sometimes is very bad, and I skip sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum does not prepare for real-world applications that much as per my view and perspective. Some brilliant students might get placed in huge companies and stuff. The rest usually get placed at call centres and other small jobs. The timing of the university calender is very tight. The first 2 sems of my curriculum was actually a course of 12 months which was conducted over a duration of 8 months.

Likes

Teachers where too friendly and well skilled
Nice class room and good condition smart set up
Well ambianced place include small pond,small huts etc...

Dislikes

Collage is very strict,fell like a school
Ground were very poor and too dangerous play
The programs where limited and management doesn't allowing too much programs

Placement Experience:

Actually the place is below average, because the maximum lakh per annum is 3.5,that is too low when we compared to government colleges,but when we compare to other private colleges it is quite good as others

My sincere opinion about my college

Likes

FISAT got seperate grounds for cricket and football
FISAT has clean bathrooms and classrooms
All the classes in FISAT got projectors for us

Dislikes

Still use chalk and board to teach us still in this 2024

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placements. Companies like TCS, VIPRO, EY, APOLLO, etc are coming for placement opportunities. I'm hoping to be placed in my UG itself. If not I'm going for UG studies.

Nature friendly.NBA accredited.Teachers are so good at our academics
Cold climate and eco friendly campus.Campus is like a tourist spot
Faculties are highly qualified and experienced

Dislikes

Bus availability is not so good.we have to wait bus for going anywhere.As a hilly place bus availability is limited
Network issue and range isuse.sometimes sim network is completely shutdown
On campus placements are less.we have to placed through outcampus

A Student's Perspective: CEM Review

Arts and science based programs: Those programs are a must to attend programs, everyone is so active and its so fun and educational.
Good classes and restrooms: All classrooms are equiped with fully functional lights, fans, and electrical equipments.
Good teaching staffs: Everyone is so sincere and welcoming and friendly.

Dislikes

College surroundings: The college is very small and the roads are full of gutters and wastes.
Poor campus: Its not a very enjoyable campus, not that much trees and so crowded.
Pacing: Professors are going so fast that its hard to catch and have very little time for semester exam.

Placement Experience:

I don't really know about it but I've heard that this college does have placements from Infosys like companies. The college administration said that placements are based on your CGPA, it's the marks and activity points you achieved during your 4 year academic.

Faculty was more transparent and not much strict
College has minimum facilities for the student, which seems better than many private college
Better atmosphere to study if we are willing to do so

Dislikes

The campus was very small, Does not provide a proper Ground.
The place where college is not easy to make on it.
Teaching was average for the mechanical branch

As I am 2015 scheme. the course curriculum was focused on the outdated syllubus, which is very vast but no use in time. So has to take courses from outer sources. And in exam point of veiw the cources doesn't give any

About my college

Likes

Good learning atmosphere ,lab facilities are kk
Good teachers,best teachers for teaching
Travel facilities are ok,for long distance students

Dislikes

Timing is not ok for me as a day scholar from a bit long distance
Not good amount of college programs in the college
Fees can't be paid as installation,not comfortable for people who don't have a good financial balance in that particular year

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester we are eligible for campus placements Tcs, Sutherland etc etc are companies placed I don't know more about the packege and all because I am on the third semested Department of cs are getting more placements compared to other streams
