IIIT Kalyani Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The last year placement was good and till now it's good only but now we are in the 7th semester and it's our placement time but seeing the market and the stats of few companies we are not in good position...We just hope to see companies which will offer us above 15 Lpa but now we don't have any insights. The companies which were giving placement on regular basis, those are also not replying. So placement scenario for 2020-24 batch is not so good till now.

From 5th Semester students become eligible for campus placements. Microsoft , Amazon , TCS , WIPRO , Accolite Digital , WhiteKlay companies visited and no of offers made around 50. Highest pakage is 44 LPA . Motive named company visited and offered this. Average package is 15 LPA . TATA1 MG offered 15 LPA. 96% Students are placed. My plan is to get into an industry after getting the degree.

The placements has been outstanding, with an average package of almost 12LPA. The highest package was 44LPA for the 2019-2023 batch, and it is expected to increase for the 2020-2024 batch. However the college doesnt provide any internship facilities.

From the beginning of the seven semesters, our placement session gets started. Placement stats are moderate not so good not so bad. previous year's placement record is 90% with an average placement of 12lpa and the highest is 42LPA. Around 30 company visits the campus and till we have only computer science student so this number of the company is good and enough.

Adobe, ITC, Infosys and other firms visited the event last year. The biggest package is 17 LPA, while the lowest package is13 LPA. Last year, over 70% of students were placed, some on-campus and others off-campus, and some went on to pursue additional education. The placement cell was supportive throughout the process.

This college has improved a lot in terms of placements in the last five years. The institute currently runs a four-year B.Tech program in computer science and engineering and electronics and communication engineering. some of the major IT companies such as Wipro, TCS, IBM, PWC, Cognizant, Goldman Sachs, Jio, MAQ Software, Deloitte, and many more, have recruited students from this institute. Almost 90 percent of the students who registered for placement were placed in one of these companies with an average package of about 10 lakh per annum as of January 2022.

In our collage from the fourth year i.e 7th semester students become eligible for oncampus placements. This year placements are excellent in our collage . A total of 70 students registered for placements this year and 64 students are already having job offers till phase 2 of oncampus placements . Approximately 92% of the students are placed. The highest package till 2nd phase is 15 LPA and the average package is 10.22 LPA. A total of 88 jobs are offered till 2nd phase of oncampus placement. Some of the companies that recruited from our collage are JIO, TCS , Capgemini , Nvidia and many others.

Our college is very popular for its placement and college has a good record of 90% placement. The college offers very good packages from good companies. The plus point is that few of our college faculty have very good corporate experience and they help and guide us during the placement rounds. The highest salary offer of our college was around 19 LPA and the average salary offer was around 10 LPA.

The highest placement CTC was 15 lakh per annum while the average CTC stood at 8 lakh per annum. Companies like TCS, Infoedge, Capgemini, Deloitte, Infosys etc visited the campus. A total of 94 students were placed, which constituted of 73% of the total batch.

The highest salary offered was 15 lakh per annum while the average package was 9.64 lacs per annum. 73% of students were placed while the rest left off for the education. Top recruiters include companies like jio, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte consulting, infologitech system, National digital library of India, Tata consultancy services, cap Gemini, etc.
