IIM Visakhapatnam Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Almost 100% batch is placed. One two are remaining but that too because of their bad academic performance. Almost 80 companies visited campus. Packages vary from 8 lac to 18 Lacs. AVG will be around 12-13 Lacs. The recruiter info can be available on the website. The placement report. But the numbers are not inflated and it's true as per my knowledge.

In the last 5 Years, IIMV is able to achieve 100% placements both in terms of summers and finals. The average package for the institute is about 12-13 LPA and the median is around 12 LPA. Big names visited campus in past and continue to visit in future. The highest package was about 20.82 LPA for the 2021 batch.

There will be summer placements and final Placements which will be coordinated by Senior and junior placecom members for the entire PGP-1 and 2 where we get very good companies for the summer and final Placements and coming to the stipend of summer internship there is an average stipend of 62,500 for the project duration, which is 20% more than the previous year.

Our campus placement process is a rolling one so the preparation for the placements starts in the 1st term itself. For our batch, 100% of students got placed for the summer internship process. The highest and average package details can be checked on the college website.

We had 100 percent Summer Placements and Final Placements this year as well amidst pandemic situation. That itself is a great example of the quality of students of our college. For our summers we had more than 50 companies participating in the process this year. The highest stipend for summers was Rs.2 lakh. I myself have secured summer internship at a Design thinking Company which I am very happy to say.

Despite this pandemic hit, IIMV 100% completed their summer placements this year as well. more than 50 companies visited this year for summer placements as well as final placements. Apart from the regular companies this year new companies also added for giving placement opportunities to the students. Companies offered roles in different profiles like marketing, HR, Operations, BFSI, IT, FMCG and Manufacturing. some of the companies which are visited this year are ICICI Lombard, Lubrizol, MTR, V-Guard, BOSCH, Dalmia Bharat, RBI etc.

IIM Visakhapatnam has an excellent placement record with an average salary of 13 LPA. The number of prominent companies visiting the campus for both finals and summers is increasing year on year. Institute achieved 100% placement in both Finals and SIP.

We didn't get many opportunities, for our placements, most of the job roles were vague, Placement was 100%, Highest package was close to 100000 per month. After my degree, I plan to start my own venture. The name of few companies that came for placements includes, Sarvani sweets, IIMV_FIELD, Dalmia cement, IBM

IIM Visakhapatnam has able to give 100% placement since its inception. All the reports are available on its website. Despite pandemic, IIM Visakhapatnam has able to give its best with the highest stipend of Rs.2lakh for summer placement 2020-22 and Rs.27lakhs for final placements 2018-20. For 2019-20 placement report is yet to publish.

Placements achieved this year are 100% and prominent recruiters are Amazon, Deloitte, TATA AIG, Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, Andhra Bank, ICICI Lombard, ICICI Prudent Life, HCL, Amul etc. in different domains ranging from general management, Marketing, Consulting, HR, Operations etc with an average CTC of 13.5 Lakhs.
