IIM Visakhapatnam Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

It has a separate placement committee and 'CDS' for handling summer placement and final placement. Every year it achieves 100% placement for summers and finals as wells. Some of the major recruiters which visit IIM-V are Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI, Bosch, Yes bank, etc. For batch 2020-21 the highest stipend was 2 lakh and the average was approx. 62k. About the final placement, the average is around 14 lakh and the highest CTC offered was 27 lakh.

The student is eligible to sit for summer placement from 1st semester and final placement from 4th semester, the placement percentage is 100%, over 75 companies come for final placement on campus.

In the view of Pandemic, IIMV was able to achieve 100% placement for the 2nd year batch. Various companies visited our institute like Amazon, Amul, Anand Rathi, Tech Mahindra, Tata AIA, Tata Power, Foxconn, Delloite, etc. The placements are rolling type of placements where companies come to recruit throughout the year.

The placements are good. Though it's baby IIM it is giving tough competition to new IIMs also. In the past 5 years, it achieved 100% placements. The average stipend stood at 13+ Lpa. This year also IIMV achieved 100% placements with more than 100 companies participated in for placement process. Many prominent new recruiters participated this year. Few students got PPO offers from prestigious organizations.

The placements are amazing and it is achieving 100% in the past 5 years. For batch 2019-21, IIM V has witnessed more than 100 companies, and 120+ offers are made. Prominent recruiters are Deloitte, Amazon, KPMG, Govt of A.P, ICICI Bank, ICICI Lombard, ICICI Prudent Life, Yes Bank, Amul, Andhra Bank, etc. with roles in Consulting, HR, Operations, Marketing, Analytics and General Management

Summer placements start in the first term. Final placements start in the fourth term. Placement details can be checked on the college's official website. A detailed placement report is made available on the website. Our college has been achieving 100% placements year on year.

They were able to provide 100% of placement till now with approx 13 lakh of average package. And for the top 25%, it is around 16 or 17 lakh approximately. Companies come to recruit for both with experience or freshers.

Placements in the college are good. From trimester 5 students are eligible for the campus placements and there is a 100% placement on campus. The average package is around 13 lakhs per annum and the profiles offered were the assistant managers and managers.

IIM V has achieved 100% placements since its inception. Even this year despite pandemic IIMV managed to achieve 100% placements with good packages to all students. We get placements from some of the best companies like Amazon, KPMG, Yes Bank, Bosch, ICICI Lombard, Adani group, Amul, MTR Foods, Modern foods, MU Sigma, etc and many more across aloo domains like BSFI, IT/ITES, Operations, HR, Manufacturing, EdTech, etc

For the batch of 2020-2022, the highest stipend offered for summer internship is 2 lakh for 2 month internship period and the average is around 62k. The official Final placement report for this year is yet to come but if we see the last year's report, the highest salary offered is 27 LPA and the average salary is around 13 LPA. The majority role is offered in the sales and marketing domain followed by finance and operation in mainly the IT and BFSI sector followed by FMCG.
