IIM Amritsar assists the students in securing their final placements and as well as the summer internship. Corporates come to campus at the start of the 5th trimester to recruit the students. This placement season, more than 120 companies visited the campus for recruitment which, included companies like Adani, Accenture, BenQ, Crisil, Essar, EXL, EY, Genpact, HCL, kore.ai, LatentView Analytics, KPMG, Maruti & Suzuki, Porter, Schindler, Tata Capital, Tech Mahindra, Tiger Analytics, TVS, VIP, Yes Bank, ZS and many more. The average package was 16.51 lakh and 20.57 for the top quartile. 100% of students are placed during the placement season. Placements starts in 4th term (start of 2nd year). The average package is 16 lakhs per annum, and the median package is 15 lakhs per annum. All the students who are not opting out of placement policy are placed. My aim is to get placed through campus placements.

The placements are good. from the end of the 4th sem we are eligible, I guess McKinsey visited, Tiger Analytics, ICICI, and also Sapient Analytics. All students get placed. My plan is to earn money and be happy.
