IIM Amritsar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

100% placement every year. students eligible from the 4th trimester. Many students get pre-placement offers from their internship companies. Companies like Amazon, Adani, Dalmia, etc. visited campus, no. of offers made - The highest package was 25LPA, and the average package was 16.51LPA. Marketing and sales were the major domains. My plan after my MBA is to get a high-paying job.

For a newer IIM, the placements are doing exceptionally well, all thanks to the student-run placements team. All major recruitment firms have been visiting or have visited the campus and have recruited students for various roles. With time, it is bound to get better and stronger.

We get campus placements, after completion of our first year our Placecom helps us get companies for our summer internship and in second year they bring companies for the final placements. Our placement is very good and average package was 16.5 LPA in final placements.

After the first year, you must go for your summer internship, known as SIP (Summer Internship Programme). So, after 1-semester, companies start coming in for a summer internship, mainly at the end of the second semester, and every student gets placed. SIP is for 2 months, then at the start of the 5 semester, companies start coming in for final placement.

Placements start in the 5th term from the month of September. There are a lot of companies from various domains such as FMCG, banking, retail, IT, Analytics, Finance, consultancy etc with packages offered ranging from 12 lakhs to 22 lakhs. The average is around 15.5 lakhs. Almost 100% of students get placed. Plans to work and gain more experience after my degree and then start a personal venture after some time period.

From the 5th Semester. On average more than 200 companies visit the campus for final placements and more than 110 companies visit for summer placements. average package is 16.51LPA and the highest package offered at the campus is 45LPA IIM Amritsar has maintained 100% placements for both summers and final placements from the year of its inception. The campus placement is one of the best things about IIM Amritsar. In 2022, they have an average placement of 1452000 and are supposed to hit 15.50 lakhs average placement this year. The college secured 100% placement this year too with a batch size of around 240 odd people. There are a lot of offers of above 20 lakhs for the students this year. Overall, placement wise the college is doing so great.

The Placements support here is 100% i.e. the college will keep providing opportunities until the last student is placed. The Summer Placements start as soon as you enter the college, and the placement team starts to provide opportunities to apply. The Summer Placements are quite decent with an average of 60k stipend. Talking about the final placements, It starts from the 4th semester and again it records 100% placements till the end of the 6th semester. The average package offered is around 14.62 Lakhs and the Median is around 14.17 Lakhs as per the last records. However, the placements this year (2021-23 Batch) is expected to report an increase of 10% or more than the previous one as mentioned above.

The students are eligible to go for placements from the 2nd year onwards. A lot of companies visit the reputed college for recruitment. Some would be amazon, Deloitte, HCL, and so on. The highest package offered in front of me was around 26 LPA while the average goes around 15LPA. A very high number (greater than 90%) of the students get placed every year. After graduation, I plan to work in a reputed company, earning for my family and myself

There is a roll out process so as the companies keep visiting the students can sit for them. The process is very transparent. Some of the prominent names are ICICI LOMBARD, ZS associates, IDFC First, Ola, BMW, Zycus, Virtusa, BenQ etc
