Likes

Infrastructure is really good and environment is really pleasing and might spend more time without having a reason. They have some good options to fill up your leisure time.

Dislikes

Obviously maintaining THE 75%attendance, I mean that's really a hard job. And also, they do have strict routine of wearing uniform every alternate days.

Placement Experience:

They do offer placement and they offer good yearly package and it's good to start your career with. And they too prepare you for your placement and they do have classes for placement individuals which really help students to learn more.

The respect of the College that I feel like he these are the best are some of the grounds and the teachers and their behaviours and most importantly they are very friendly and I feel like they are very hard-working and they want the student to learn
My engagement with campus was it was good like I was an introvert but when I came to this college I became an extrovert and with social interaction there are many good people who are working there and it was a good interaction
The faculty has its own different types of teaching methods not theoretically but also practically more over the most thing the one thing I like the most is which is they have subjects like communication and leadership Add moral values

Dislikes

The environment and the call and in the college you have to like stay for long and from long I mean you have to stay till evening if you’re not hostler or if you’re not living close to the College
The mentality students have around them then environment you do not get an environment where you can learn about business and you can you know if you want if individual wants to grow
There is a criteria of 75% attendance which is compulsory for everyone which sometimes boom your different plans and it also affect your marks and your studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose bba was just to get practical knowledge not in just this college but in any college if I would take admission so I would take bba for sure because in BO I feel like there is more practical knowledge as well the teaching methods are decent not that much good but the things I like as they have subjects like communication leadership and other type of subject brings out your leadership quality which brings out the hidden qualities of the students and college and because there is vast social interaction in the college as well I feel like They should remove the 75% attendance criteria so that the student can maintain their personal life balance too

Infrastructure of CGC, Jhanjeri is amazing. They provide facilities to the students.
The faculty members have many years of experience. They are supportive too.
CGC, Jhanjeri offer scholarship, internship, & placement opportunities to the students

Dislikes

There is a restriction to have attendance of 75%.
It is mandatory for students to wear the uniform.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semeester, the students are eligible for campus placements. 800+ top companies such as Deloitte, TCS, Microsoft, Accenture visited the college. These companies select the eligible candidate with a good package. The highest package is 45.5 LPA. 8500+ placements are offered in this college.

College Life - A part of mine life

Likes

College facilities in studies i.e infrastructure especially for the labs we opted
College cafeterias when it comes to eat healthy it is none other than college canteen
College ground is one of the best place to do exercise play sports making memories

Dislikes

Entrance can be created more boarder so it looks good
Security should be little lenient as students are mature now
Dance parties should be organised on weekends or fortnighy

Placement Experience:

The college administration focus upon the placement and thus running placement cell side by side for the practice of the students who are going to be sit in placement drives from 3rd semester onwards so that even a weak student get sufficient time to improve his skills for the drive. Almost 100 percent student got placed in reputed companies based upon the facts they have cleared their backlogs.

Co curricular activities, infrastructure, green and clean environment

Dislikes

Not much importance to sports , they take out teams only for inter college tournament which occurs once in a year
Hostel had no communication with the campus ,there’s a lot of communication gap btw both.
Some teachers are not very helpful and they are only their for the sake of their job payout.

The placement team consist of only 6 memebers on 1500-1600 students and the communication gap is alot btw the team and the students . The mechanical and civil companies nare very rare and it's very hard to crack the interviews of the core companies

Faculty members are good and supportive and give best environment for study
Good in Sports and extra curricular activities

Dislikes

Hostel good are not so good but eatable sometime
There is no lift facility in hostel and students who are on 6th floor facing difficulty

From 6th semesters onwards we will eligible for campus placements Companies visited in our campus are autocad Microsoft Amazon Flipkart etc Almost 70-80% students will get placement as I observe till now

Thinking for Good - Think CGC Jhanjeri

Likes

Teaching staff behavior towards freshers is outstanding. They care for the students. They guide them to focus on their goals. The learning environment is good.
Campus is small but surely the best campus. Campus beauty is next level.
Fees is also slightly at lower side as compare to other colleges, universities.

Dislikes

They are strict in terms of academic fees and hostel fees.
Attendance criteria is 75%. Slightly strict in case of attendance

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem Amazon, flipkart, TCS, wipro, Dell, Infosys,etc there are 800+ companies. Almost all deserving students get offer letter. Highest package 45.5 lpa Average package 4-5 lpa 80% students get placed To go for a campus placement.

My experience in CGC JHANJERI

Likes

I liked the Greenery and parks of our college
I liked the infrastructure and hostels too
I liked the faculty and their methods of teaching

Dislikes

I disliked the management in college and their attitude
I also disliked the strictness of college
I disliked the mess food sometimes in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in banking and insurance so I chose Bcom Honours. The term exams always held after every 6 months and the difficulty level was average. Teaching methods were quite good but a little improvement is needed.

The college has good teaching and supportive staff
All the teachers are very supportive and college infrastructure is very good
The college is becoming its own University

Dislikes

College requires 75 percentage attendence
The uniform is mandatory for 3 days in a week
The college does not have access to air conditioner

Placement Experience:

After the third semester, we are able to become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Adobe, Microsoft, and tech Mahindra come to our college to provide us with jobs highest package is 45.3lpa and the average package is 4-6 lpa. The college is large.

My cousin studies at CGC Jhanjeri and it's a nice and average place to be. Following are some issues though, which may be burdensome:

If you wish to go out during college hours then you will need to get an application signed by the CC and the HOD. The process itself will take up a lot of time.
Girls can stay out up to 7 pm in summers and 6 pm in winters and you can step out to roam in the campus by 4:30 and you will have to return in two hours to avoid sending a call home.
You should have at least a 75% attendance like most colleges, but it will be evaluated every 15 days. You will have to attend 75% of 15 days to avoid detention during the Monthly Sessional Tests of MSTs.
The campus is verdant and hygienic and it has a playground, but it is surrounded by grasslands on all sides up to 5 Kms. It has all the basic amenities like stationery shops, sports ground, pool, games room, etc.
Even transportation is an issue and autos and buses are the only way but quite time-consuming.

Hostel, mess food, cleanliness, room Sharing are not any issues at all. You will not have to worry about ragging too. You can go to Chandigarh for shopping after getting your passbook filled and signed by the Warden.

However, you cannot bunk because the campus is small, you can get discovered very easily and may face some good punishment. As for placements, it all depends upon research-based hard work and skills. Major companies do visit for recruitment.
