Campus was nice, football turf is nice, mumsoc president is pretty cute, and there's golf carts.
Placements is really really very good they provide many opportunities and many small as well as big companies come here for campus recruitment.
Faculty members are good they will encourage us in every aspect and motivate us they will give valuable information to be a differintiator

Dislikes

The clubs are useless, and no fests were organised when i was studying in the university.
Hostel fees is to high and food is not that good
The exam system is quite disappointing because there is no prior information about the exams.

My Enginnering life with DSU

Likes

Well-equipped labs,modern classrooms,and a beautiful campus enhance the learning experience,the curriculum is regularly updated and align with industry trends.
Encourages research with dedicated centers and fundings for student projects.
Strong corporate ties ensure good internship and job opportunities. Extra curricular activites conduted every year to prmote holistic development

Dislikes

Some departments need more faculties to ensure personalized attention to students
Hand-on training and industry vivits should be increased to bridge the gap between theory and practicals
Internet speed and coverage across the campus could be improved.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester itself we will have opprtunities for nternships but from 6th sementer we will have more opprtunities. the companies like accenture,infosys, amazon,cognizant,mathco,harman,stonex,musigma,multicoreware and many more.accenture hired more than 100 studens lti mindtree hired 150+ students. The highest package was 52LPA and average is 6LPA. the percentage of students getting laced is more than 90 i am already placed in a company called mathco so i am joining there as data analyst

The infrastructure is great whereas the exposure in terms of patient count with your hospital postings in the course is good as well
Detailed practicals are done in 1st yr to learn various subjects like ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY
Teacher counts are more as well for all the external subjects

Dislikes

The campus is far from the city so makes it hard to travel for the day scholars
The hospital postings in other colleges start from 2nd yr whereas here from the 3rd yr. By the 3rd yr you should know thingss but that comes as a lil bit of a problem you can still catch up with efforts tho

A Short but helpful review for new comers in DSU

Campus is beautiful , the campus is based on london theme, it's the most beautiful College of Bengaluru

Dislikes

The location is far from the city. I travel 36km everyday to reach college
There's no good option to eat in cafeteria
Attendance is of minimum 80 percent , it should be decreased to 70 or 65

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement 200 plus company visits in DSU Highest package as of now is 44lpa. Around 70 percent student gets placed. I'll do job for 4-5 years then I'll start my own business

Currently we are staying in the new campus for last 3 years we have stated the old campus you get campus now he shifted to new campus in harohalli it is 50 km away from Bangalore but everything will be available nearby and it is developing area right
The campus infrastructures it's so good it's look like and foreign campus not like an Indian campus the infrastructure is amazing everything will be available inside the campus there are lot of canteen shops cafeteria food trucks etc
Campus are different wide varieties of streams in engineering and medical and many more streams are there there is an hospital inside the campus also which colour combinate 1000 of people at a time 1000 bats are available

Dislikes

Things I little bit disliked campuses for from the main city like if you want to stay in city and want to travel to the college it will be somewhat difficult so you have to stay in college hostel or you have to take the room near campus
The faculty and all are very good they have many experience of faculty and some new faculties there are many good lapse in the campus and library food

The placements are good in this college and because of some colleges are not getting good placement but our colleges getting good companies and many students were place and the placement people will always help your the students to get a good job and they will support very good

Huge campus and facilities provided are awesome
Infrastructure is great it's like to be in karan johar movie
Foreign exchange is provided in the curriculum for talented students

Dislikes

Very huge to be true so it's like to be in a jungle
Transport facilities for day scholars is bit disappointing
Curriculum is tough compared to any other colleges in Bangalore

"DSU through my eyes"

The college environment is decent and sets a mood to serene and studious mind .The exposure especially you get for extracurricular activities is great and the staff here are pretty supportive and even though its a deemed university ,there is nostress
The staff here are not pressurizing and push us with every aspects .And every semesters mentors conduct a survey for everything in the college ,incudes subject exit survey ,education quality and exposure to other activities and we are mentored to.
There are skill enhancement courses and placement training and liberal studies which helps us with resume building . Campus , building infrastructure and canteens sets a society type of a system and there are playgrounds and many more and good places

Dislikes

Even though there is brand value Dayananda Sagar which is already established till the campus placements are not that great . And allotment of classes is very messy and administration could have been more organized , as if we encounter issues with
the subject teachers there is no one whom we can approach and sought our problems .In such a big campus and such attractive infrastructure there is no closed auditorium which causes issues while events are conducted in afternoons where there is no
shelter overheads and due to this students attendance to the event in the afternoons is very low and few celebrities who visited our campus were disappointed. to see very less crowd as it was a afternoon and few of them were also offended

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college .Students from 5th Semesters are allowed to attend placement drives . Companies like Amazon AWS Flipcart , Uber, TCS ,WIPRO, InfoSys, Cognizent, Accenture, LnT, MineTree ,NTT Data etc .Highest Package 25 lpa and average lies between 4 to 7 lpa .The college gives a stat of 100% but when you dive deep you will know that that's not true according to my estimation I would say maybe 80% placements . I would prefer for off campus placements than campus and probably in the futue I would like to go on with some other feild ,after earining , saving and working for few years .

Likes

The teachers in here are very supportive and guide properly to our goals
The faculty's teaching methods are good and helpful
campus life here is the best with crazy infrastructure and many of events happening every one to two months

Dislikes

The club nature has not properly establised here which is disadvantage in knowing many people and social connections
course topics feels a little outdated they are following all old syllabus when the tecnology is advanced to such an extent
the schedules are just like school where the college starts from morning and on continuous classes ends in evening

Placement Experience:

the eligibily might be from 3rd year. There are several companies such as capegemini hitachi patym dmart. 700 offers are offered. Highest is 25 lakh and average is around like 5 lakh. After the completion of my degree i would like to persue higher studies like MS.

Infrastructure wise it's the best college in Bengaluru. A beautiful and massive campus
Faculty teaching is on point cuz every teacher makes you understand the subject. They are cooperative, friendly teachers with knowledge
Campus life is too good, you will get to make a lot of friends from different regions of the country

Dislikes

Location of the college is the only negative factor cuz it lies in the outskirts of Bengaluru making it difficult to connect to the city

Placement Experience:

Placements in this college are pretty decent when compared to all other colleges in Bengaluru. Average package being somewhere around 5LPA, Higgest being 45LPA. Students are eligible to attend campus placements by the end of 5th semester itself. Around 50 companies offered pretty decent packages. Some of the companies being Accenture, OLA, Flipkart, Wipro, Bosch, Capegmini, Goldman Sachs etc... 550 offers were made by the companies Around 60-75% of the students are being placed in this university where rest of them opt for higher studies or not being placed. My plans after getting the degree is to attend placement drives and get myself selected in a company.

campus is nicee and huge all the classrooms are well ventilated
the ;lecture hall is fuly air conditioned and many events take place in college
the sports facilities are very good ,plus there are lot of sports events too

Dislikes

location of the campus very far from city
there arent much shops available near the campus
some faculties are bad and also attendance issue

Placement Experience:

the placement opportunities are very good , almost al people who are eligible get placed , highest is around 30 lpa and average is around 8lpa. we even have placement training from 1 st sem itself which is introduced from this year , to increase the good placements
