Yes, we do have opportunities for scholarship both on the basis of merit and financial considerations.
Faculty is of top quality and they provide the best knowledge
Iim jammu offers great campus placement opportunities and final placement start from the 5th semester talking about the placement report we have had 25% growth since last year.

Dislikes

Hostel is very worst and we pay too much for the things they provide
The campus life for me was very poor the new jagti campus is still being constructed the jhallo chak campus is awful and lacks basic infrastructure.
Initially, the internships offered had a good stipend, but the final candidates they selected were very low; hence, the batch's stipend was very low.

Should I join IIM Jammu?

Likes

The peer group is amazing. People from various cultures
Many learning opportunities, competitions and quizzes
Committees and club members work very hard

Dislikes

We are setting the culture and not enough alumnus
There is no AC in rooms and jammu gets hot

100% of students are placed with the highest package around 65 lpa and an average of around 16.43 lpa. The top 10 percentile has received around 30 LPA. The placement committee works very hard and is supported by the students and administration.

Faculty and student experience is awesome.
The food is amazing and healthy, they maintain the hygiene.

Likes

people are the best here, coming from different background, different culture.
faculties and their teaching styles are the best
culture of the institute is at best everyone is helpful in nature and they are the family.

Dislikes

having a separate campus from seniors is the quite dissapointing
sharing room with 4-5 people are quite challenging .
mostly related to the infrastructure problem as we do not have permanent campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good and provides you with good ROI as this year the placement report was published and it's 15.5 Midian, which is good as per the ROI. The highest package this year is 64 LPA, and the average is around 16 LPA, good companies are coming there and mostly in the marketing domain.

The talent pool that comes to IIM is exceptional, people from various backgrounds, different age groups, some with past work ex, national players and a lot

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are very well, even being the youngest IIMs, its placements are at par with the new IIMs and it looks like in the coming 5 years they will compete with that of old ones. The college gives 100% placements. However, you don't get to have multiple placement opportunities in that if you sit for a company's placement process if you get selected you are signed out.

the experience is overall very good, there are so many opportunities given by college
the college facilities are good and experienced
the college environment is also good, overall batch

the hostel facilities are not up to the mark
the food quality is also not that good in college
there are certain low cat percentile in college which sometime create distrubamce.

From the 4th semester, the students are eligible for the placement. The top companies visit the campus like ICICI, state street, ABC, Big Four, Adani, Vedanta, etc. The highest last year package was 64 lakhs last year given by Amazon in product management. 100 percent placement is there. To work in corporate and try to shift towards self-business.

IIM Jammu is paradise

Firstly the campus life, many people may think that jammu is not a safe place. But let me assure you its as safe as any other city of India with so much to look forward to.
Secondly the placements are very good. If you work a bit hard on your skill, you can easily get 15plus packages
Thirdly the faculties are very helpful and practical and they guide you throughout your journey.

The infrastructure can be improved of the campus

The placements are continuously improving. The average placement for batch 2021-23 was 16.43 lakhs with the median being 15.5 lakhs. The companies are also very good. Some of the prominent recruiters are Accenture, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, Adani, Cognizant, and others.
