Likes

Our hod is very friendly and good teacher, she is very understanding and loves all the students.
Snu have a good track record of placements, with tie-ups with industry partners and a dedicated placement cell to assist students in securing internships and job opportunities.
College provides scholarship for students those got above 80% in their boards exam.. also other scholarship like swami vivekananda scholarship also can be approved by the college, loans are also approved by college which is beneficial for students.

Dislikes

They have enough infrastructure but the management is very sick.
The fees of all the courses are very high but no air conditioner is available in the classroom which makes it very difficult to study in the summer season.
College canteen is too small than the no. of students. and the price of each and every foods are so high. and the food quality in our canteen is too poor. overall our canteen facility is too bad.

Sister Nivedita Walkthrough

Likes

There are many different courses which are available in our college.
Campus area is good with a garden and basketball play area.
Good number of faculties are available which are having proper qualification.

Dislikes

No proper placement is available for the students.
The placement salary is very low for our department.
Few teachers are very irresponsible and does not teaches properly.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester the student become eligible for campus placement. Cipla and dr. reddy these two companies visit for our department. Very few students gets the placement like out of 60 only 5 - 10 get the placement. My plan is to work in the field of industry in any private company.

My Overall Experience About My College

Likes

we had Library in our college which is very helpful.
We have indoor sports activites which i liked.

Dislikes

very much expensive fees. which is not afordable for everybody.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All of my course faculty is great and helpful the very copereitve. till now i have did not faced any problem during any class or college related other works. if have to say overall experience about college then its great.

Our SNU

Likes

The university location was very excitant.
The campus was very good and there was cafe and canteen is available.
Faculty members and HOD was very helpful.

Dislikes

The class timings of university is not good. The class is started from 8 am in the morning.

Placement Experience:

In 7 th sem the companies visited our college for placement. Cipla, Mankind, Apollo, etc the highest package was around 7-8 Lpa per anum and the average package around 5-6 Lpa per anum. 75-80 percent students get placement in last few years. My plan after getting the degree that I want some well package from college and then join for job.

Likes

Faculty cooperative. And understanding too much
Campusing is good. Fresh nature. Maintaining of garden
Food is available for the students nd the staff outside the college and in the canteen also

Dislikes

Classroom facilities should be improved with proper desks nd benches
Labs should be well maintained nd cleaned
No such laboratory things are present in the lab

All the faculties have completed there PhD and they are assistant professor Every semester we have a mid semester. Quality of the questions is quite good for the students to help them promote to the 2nd Sem

This adds to the remarkable faculty members who ensure that we have a great learning experience here.
Placement opportunities are excellent for students in both the engineering department and commerce department
There are good scholarships available for every department that can help students pursue their careers without any hesitation.

This is not a general course thats why i choose this course . Since 10 i was good in biology another reason for choosing this course . Student : faculty 50:2 They are good at their work they are well experienced too Within every 3 months mid semester

Life of SNU student

College provide a great opportunity for practical experience. The exam held throughout the year is very strict. It is very helpful for merit students
The college campus is very big. And well decorated. Students are playing in the big field. And many fest occur in our college ground. Like Christmas
The faculty members are very much helpful for us. They teach properly according to syllabus and take class test for our better improvement. They are very friendly to us. Some time they take extra classes

Dislikes

College canteen is too small than the no. Of students. And the price of each and every foods are so high. And the food quality in our canteen is too poor. Overall our canteen facility is too bad.
Our college lift facility is very poor. Lift no. is only 3. So many students doesn't get the lift opportunity. One of these lift has some mechanical problems. So it is very dangerous for us.
I disliked the another thing that is the behaviour of our college's security guard. They behaved with us very rootly. And our washroom is very unhygienic. No body are clean the washroom evary day.

I choose the course because I like nature. And want to know a lot of things about our surroundings. Faculty are15and students are 200.all faculty are doctorates and the teach very well and carefully. Term exam heald within 6months.not difficult to pass

SNU- A Student Friendly University

Likes

The Campus of SNU is one of the best campus that is present in Kolkata.
The Social life of SNU is probably a good thing one can have for their betterment.
Faculty and Student friendly relations is a good point why you should get admitted here.

Dislikes

The canteen foods are not good at all,hoping for some better food in the upcoming years.
Holidays should be increased beacuse we even have classes on some national holidays.
New students should have chances to participate for the programs in the other colleges not only the same old senior gang memebers who have done those quite a few times

Agri life in SNU

Likes

I just love the campus and all of the college ambience.
The faculty members are soo good and supportive.
The location of the campus is good and it is very well disciplined

Dislikes

Bus services sould be provided by the college
Bus services fees should be minimalized.
More fests should be organised in college so that others will be able to show their tallents.

I have choosen this course as i felt it quite unique despite all other courses being common mostly , morover i loved biology and considering this is the plant stream of biology i have choosen this course and job sector in this field will improve with time.

Life in Agriculture at SNU

Campus life is very good our teachers are also very helpful.

Dislikes

Lift service are not too much well in this University you have to wait for a long time for the lift.also wifi and ac didn't available in all classrooms

I'm interested about this course also I'm from a rural side where agricultural is a important thing that's why I choose this course.There are 12facualty members and in our batch we are 80 students.Faculty are well qualified and very helpfull.Exams are occurred time exam papers are very easy if you study well you easily passed out in exam.
