Our hod is very friendly and good teacher, she is very understanding and loves all the students.
Snu have a good track record of placements, with tie-ups with industry partners and a dedicated placement cell to assist students in securing internships and job opportunities.
College provides scholarship for students those got above 80% in their boards exam.. also other scholarship like swami vivekananda scholarship also can be approved by the college, loans are also approved by college which is beneficial for students.

Dislikes

They have enough infrastructure but the management is very sick.
The fees of all the courses are very high but no air conditioner is available in the classroom which makes it very difficult to study in the summer season.
College canteen is too small than the no. of students. and the price of each and every foods are so high. and the food quality in our canteen is too poor. overall our canteen facility is too bad.

ALL Rounder College for All

Likes

Professors are very cooperative and helpful
The open ambience of the college make it bearable,the have all kind of food at the canteen in affordable price
It has all kind of cultural activities,music,dance, basketball court and extracurricular like learning foreign language

Dislikes

The 75% attendance issue,the department send us mail regarding attendance every week it puts alot of pressure on us
Course fees is too high, and they take semester fee in advance even before the semester get started
Its a private college but dont have air conditioner even the fans are slow they are charging us so much money

An Insightful Exploration

Likes

The infrastructure here is very good now
There are lots of things to do here, like there is a basketball court for sports and a gym for fitness.
Teachers are very active here and are always present in the class

Dislikes

There is nothing special for sports like cricket ground or anything else
There is no AC in the classes due to which we will have to face problems during the summer.
और सबसे जरूरी बात जितने भी दूसरे राज्य के छात्र आते हैं उन्हें भाषा की बाधाओं का सामना करना पड़ता है

Placement Experience:

In terms of placement, the college in Kolkata is number 1. And many good companies also come here like Amazon, Wipro, Flipkart and many more. After the 7th semester you become eligible to sit in placement but your CGPA should be above 7.5 only then you can sit.

Focused on campus life, but not on bringing quality students.

Likes

Includes every single component of the bba curriculum like mentored seminars, and other activities that helped me build my communication.

Dislikes

They are giving admissions to everyone including the undeserving students. They degrade the quality of the circle.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Modern equipments such as projectors are used in the classroom. Massive implementation of softwares, like whatsapp and gmail for keeping things quick. Some of the vital subjects like entrepreneurship development should be given a practical touch with the application like helping students create their business plan. The curriculum is highly focused on placement rather than creating real business entrepreneurs for future. Ecah semester has one Mid-Sem examination and one Final Sem examination and students have to give both. It is necessary.

A Honest Feedback about SNU

Likes

The teachers are above average in quality, like very good teachers considering its a private college.
The faculty is really helpful regarding academics.
The campus is flourishing from 2024, like food stalls and everything.

Dislikes

The management is really bad and slow in their activities.
We haven't received our blazers till now, which was promised during 2021.
We only had 1 fest during the 2022 season, and the next fest happened in 2024.

Placement Experience:

The college provides lots of opportunities, but maximum of them are low package jobs like 3LPA, 3.5LPA, 2.5LPA. Although a few companies do come with high packages, cracking them are pretty hard. But, if you work hard, you will definitely leave the college with a placement. We currently have around 30 to 40% students placed, considering lots of students are actually unemployable.

A modest College Experience: Life, Learning, and limitations

Likes

The campus has modern facilities like computer labs, a library. this makes studying more convenient.
Apart from academic spaces, the campus also has recreational areas, canteens, and clean, comfortable spaces for students to relax between classes.
The teachers are knowledgeable and always willing to help.

Dislikes

the fees can be a bit expensive, especially for students who don't have scholarships. Even though financial aid is available, the cost can still be challenging for some students.

The course curriculum is very relevant as it covers the important topics needed for todays job market. It includes both basic concepts and practical skills. The exams are held at the end of each semester, they are fair if you study well and understand the concepts. There are also assignments and projects.

My wonderful experience in 2years about my college.

Likes

The campus of the college is neat and clean which I appreciated
The faculty are friendly and very helpful in nature. Some times faculty show us the movies for better understand.
The quality of the infrastructure the good and the campus is neat and clean

Dislikes

I dislike that the college have only three lift which is very difficult for us to go upstairs.
I dislike the way they take exams.because 6months exam they took within 4months.
I dislike the college canteen which is close half of the time

Course Curriculum Overview:

As there are two exam in each semester one is Mid sem exam and one is End sem exam. End sem exam happen after the 3months of mid sem. The way they took the exam I dislike. The teaching method is good and the faculty are very helpful.

Likes

The campus,the cafe👀,the food trucks the canteen everything the teachers
Here we have so many things to explore starting from food
You can really spend the whole day here .

Dislikes

May be sometimes I don't like the Chaos.
I don't like bad people over here but don't worry good people are more
There's nothing more in disliked category but yes the cafes food is a bit expensive but that's tasty so once in a month is ok

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is going to be the best course as you are going to get a job so quick you just have to be true to yourself. May be faculties can take more interractive session for better understanding its a good idea

The college campus is beautiful and well packed with all facilities like library and lab. The entire campus is decorated with flowers all around the campus.
The social interaction of college is fairly good and the peers are friendly and supportive all across departments
The colleg faculties are helpful and supportive and the college participates in various events

Dislikes

The campus of the college is fairly small as compared to other private colleges and theres no playground inside the campus
The competition of the college is very high and some students are seen with pariality

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very relevant in real life scenarios that helped me choose this curriculum. The curriculum offers opportunities to the students that to preapre for our job. The lab practicals and experiments makes the students ready. The course is up to date I feel but the experiments could have been better relevant to real life. The timings of exams are once every six months and the hardness is quite hard compared to some other colleges

Sister Nivedita University- A descriptive review

Likes

The college has good infrasctructure and stacked library with all necessary books. The campus is small but beautiful offering pleasant and homely environment to students. The labs and computer labs are updated. The girl to boy ratio is around 1 to 1.
The teachers are friendly and interactive. They do not rush the syllabus but focus more on the students understanding. the management staffs are helpful as well. Exams are held strictly and anti-ragging is followed in the campus .
There is abundance of career support and the placement cell of the college is very active specially in law and masscom department. The curriculum is and syllabus is on a harder level than other private colleges of my experience.

Dislikes

There is no playground inside the campus, however the students need to go to a nearby ground booked by the authorities.
Some classes are not equipped with Acs which is problematic during summers.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from penultimate year which is 4 th year for law students. The companies which visited are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, IBM, Microsoft, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini and Infinity Research. In 2024, the placement record is 97%, where average package was 6.5 lpa and highest package was 51 lpa. Im looking for a placemnt in a good law firm else practise at court.

Sister Nivedita University:Potential college with room for improvement

Likes

College Building looks premium and visually impressive ,you will enjoy the college environment.
College faculty are generally helpful and kind to student, they are approchable and try their best to help us.
No ragging in college and student are friendly and helpful.

Dislikes

college placement are poor and need improvement, they offer placemetn to few student and placement offer are very low.
proffessor and teaching quality can be improved.
there are very few extracurriculam activities in colllege, and few fest.

from 7th semester they are eligible but it is offered to very few student and very few company visit our campus, usually TCS wipro Cognigent visit us. avarage placement ranges from 3-4lpa. highest was 10lpa. you need 9 cgpa to get placement. My plan is to go for master after getting degree.
