Our hod is very friendly and good teacher, she is very understanding and loves all the students.
Snu have a good track record of placements, with tie-ups with industry partners and a dedicated placement cell to assist students in securing internships and job opportunities.
College provides scholarship for students those got above 80% in their boards exam.. also other scholarship like swami vivekananda scholarship also can be approved by the college, loans are also approved by college which is beneficial for students.

Dislikes

They have enough infrastructure but the management is very sick.
The fees of all the courses are very high but no air conditioner is available in the classroom which makes it very difficult to study in the summer season.
College canteen is too small than the no. of students. and the price of each and every foods are so high. and the food quality in our canteen is too poor. overall our canteen facility is too bad.

Good and statisfied with the college

Likes

I liked the teaching quality as well as the helpfulness of the teachers , the amount of attention given to every student is truly amazing and wonderfull
It fullfills all the needs of every students. Teachers make sure to help students in every aspect , even if you are a science student teachers make sure that you are to make you able in every field.
The labs are well equipped, the lab teachers make sure to take care of everything and are very helpfull during lab experiments

Dislikes

The lack of healthy food options in and out of the campus . And food being overpriced is a major drawback.
The rush of students is very high , making it difficult in learning process.
The lack of stationary or printing shops nearby or inside the campus to help the students in case of an emergency

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams starting times are different for all the different subjects , and college gives good strictly decorum during exams. Teachers tends to deduct marks unnecessarily many times making it difficult to keep up the positive attitude

my college placement is quite good avarage 650000 and height pakkage is 5100000 in btech in cse and my courses avargae fees is 660000 it"s quite good and like it and for they location advantage so many company around this colleege like tcs hidco coal india and many more

Faculties, laboratory and other amenities around the building like canteen.
Very good,campus had all programs and events the faculties are like friends and help you with everything
They organise seminars and workshops which help for personality development

The placement cell provided good packages of almost 5-6 lpa in my department. Esteemed companies like GSK and Nestle came for hiring this year. The placement cell also provides research opportunities for students who want to carry forward reasearch as their career.

Sad Reality of Snu

Likes

syllabus is very advanced compare to other institute like makaut we read programming in sem 1 , dsa in sem2 etc etc.
the location of the college is near biswa bangla gate
supportive faculties , study enviroment, well equipped labs , and a library with all course books

Dislikes

crowded too much sometimes we have wait many time to get lift
no nearby xerox shop or any book store here

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum which snu have i am satisfied with it but the biology and physics in the cse syllabus makes it logicless. The syllabus which snu have makes you industry ready and it starts dsa in first year, you dont have to wait for 2nd year , also u will be one semester ahead of other collges . the exam pattern is easy so that students can score, it is divided in 3 ways midsem (20marks), assignments, attendence , projects(30marks), endsem (30 marks).

Likes

Teaching strategies can be improved as the university is still underdevelopment.
Girls to boys ratio in this university is almost same
They are always ready for improvement if you talk to higher level professionals.

Dislikes

In my department, they don't have much to offer.
Faculty give deaf ears to our requests which they are supposed to fulfill.
Library doesn't contain most of the books .

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course contains the knowledge of advance anatomy, USG, X ray, CT, MRI machines which influenced me to choose this course as it is in high demands these days. The University curriculum does not provide enough knowledge to the students neither in theory not in practical. They can add advanced anatomy, and a theoretical knowledge of CT and MRI for atleast a semester each. They can upgrade the lab facilities. Mid semester are taken after 2 months from the start of the semester and end semester is taken after 2 months of mid semester.

Likes

I love the ambience of the college and the faculties aree also good and kind towards students
There are experienced faculties present in the university
Students are also good and are brilliant minds

Dislikes

There are no AC present in the college, which is needed during summer time
There is no AC in library also, due to which no students like to go there
Canteen is also a place which is need to be improved as the food quality is a bit degraded

Placement Experience:

Our college provides placement and with an average package of 6lacs per annum. They have also provided highest package of 20Lacs per annum. They also bring companies like E&Y which comes under big 4 companies , then cognizant, Accenture, Nutanix, DeltaX,Trustt, etc.

SNU- A college to remember

Likes

I really like the diversity of the college, brining in people from all over the country
I really like the faculty it provides with great knowledge and expertise
The infrastructure is well-build providing adequate space for sports and activities

Dislikes

My department consists of very bad girl-boy ratio
The placement might decline in the next few years
The campus is not big enough for all the students to fit

I chose this course mainly because how student friendly it is. Not a lot of academic pressure so that we can focus on external learning and provide participation in different hackathons which will help us to be more skilled

Architecture in Sister Nivedita university

Likes

Campus and classroom ,most of the time studio for B.arch students
The structure and landscape in the cityscape
Helpful and cheerful Faculty staffs and professors

Dislikes

lack of College canteen in the college premises there is only a cafe and canteen in the college premises
nothing in the college campus can get dislikeness
other than anything the college campus is wholesome green and lots of school will be provided in future

Placement Experience:

college offered internships at the 4 th year end sem which helps you to create a better starting for the job and helps to get such company offers and placements in the 5 th year. Also helps to preapre for the gate exam.

The faculty members are great. They have a very friendly behaviour towards us.
The admission process was very smooth. I didn't faced any problem.

The campus is far away from the main city of Kolkata
There can be a seperate place for the students who are waiting for their classes
College fest and freshers should be organised by the college itself

Placement Experience:

Techno India have it's own hospitals. So for students of health care management it becomes easy to get their placement in any of the hospitals of techo India. Other than this they conduct interviews in leading hospitals like disha, Apollo etc

LONG QUEUE OUTSIDE THE LIFT LOBBY.LIFT LOBBY WITHOUT AC WHICH MAKES IT UNBEARABLE TO WITHSTAND HEAT ALONG WITH THE STUDENTSSS
NO INDOOR GAMES ROOM. AND CHILL OUT SPACE WITHIN THE BUILDING THOUGH THERE ARE PLACES TO CHILOUT WITHIN THE CAMPUS

STUDENTS ARE GIVEN INTERNSHIP THROUGH WHICH THEY CAN GET CONTACTS FOR FUTURE JOBS. AFTER COMPLETING GRADUATION COLLEGE PROVIDES PLACEMENT IN ARCITECTURE FIRMS WITHIN THE CITY AND OUTSIDE THE STATE AS WELL. AS THE COLLEGE IS A NEW ARCHITECTURE COLLEGE THERE ARE NO PLACED STUDENTS YET AFTER THIS YEAR TE FIRST BATCH WILL GET THEIR PLACEMENT. WHICH WILL BE QUITE EASY AS THE HOD IS A VERY FAMOUS GUY WITH HIGH PROFILE CONTACTS. COLLEGE WILL PROVIDE 100 PERCENT PLACEMENT. AFTER COMPLETING THE DEGREE I WILL WORK FOR A FEW YEARS THEN OPEN MY OWN FIRM AND AFTER FEW MORE YEARS COMPLETE MY MASTERS AND APPLY ABROAD.
