JUT Ranchi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the sixth or fifth semester, the students get eligible for campus placements and the company starts visiting them. In the fifth and say semester students give their give internships and in which they get people to use NPP respectively. I have chosen the civil engineering branch because it's my choice and I want to get a government job. The ratio of teachers and students is 1:10in this college. All faculties all well qualified and all have done a PhD. The teaching method of all faculties is a good and easy way. They teach us with an example and with practicals. All exam is taken on time and the exam is so difficult and there is no easy to pass the exam.

Placement in our college is pretty good and it's improving every year. Students from the 6th semester are mostly eligible for placement. Various companies visit our campus both tech-based and IT. The highest package last year was 44 lpa and the average is around 8lpa. Almost every student who is eligible for placement gets placed. I am also planning to grab a good placement.

I chose metallurgical engineering because in BIT Sindri, placement of this branch is maximum than any other branch. Also teacher and professors of this branch are well qualified. The exam is conducted in every 4-5 months with mid semester I and II between these 4-5 months. Student also get credits for scoring good marks in subjects and with thesd credits they can boost their marks which will result in increase in CGPA.

students going for an internship in the 6th semester got a pre-placement offer but from the 7th semester, you will be eligible for campus placement. I haven't seen any company visit but have not made any offer. The highest package is offered by 'Amazon' which is 44 LPA to 4-5 students every year and the average package is 6.5 LPA given by Adani and many more.

As today's world has a high demand for steel sk metallurgical engineering has good scope in the future. Faculty: student ratio is about 1:10. Almost every teacher has completed their Ph.D. and they have a good method of teaching. Exams are tough.

I choose this course because it is one most renowned college in jharkhand. Although it is a state government college but placement ratios is imppresive. One thing which is not good in our college is the students Ratio. Their are very less number of girls in the our college. Most of the faculties are a PhD Holders. There are two mid sem between every end semesters and it is quit hard to pass them.

The college provides placements every year to the final students college brings the companies like Hitachi orman Tata Motors and many other companies the people and students get the placement cost of about 15 to 20000 monthly salary and in a proper location and many other facilities are also provided by the company which is beneficial for both student and the college

The students get the placement by the 7th semester, they can eligible. Companies have been coming like SAIL, Electro steel, etc. Students got the average package of 400000 per annum, the Highest package goes up to 6.5 lakh per annum, and the lowest goes to 3lakh per annum. I will do M.tec after getting my degree.

From the 6th semester, you have to go for internships and sit for placement. Companies have come like Sail. Electrosteel and etc. Approx 40% of students get placement. I do further studies after I got the degree.
