As a mining student almost all get placed in companies like Vedanta, SAIL India, CSIR CIMPR. And many students opt for gate examination to get a job in psu's like CIL etc. With a mode package of 10-12 lakhs per annum.

1. students are eligible for campus placements at the starting of the third year and can continue to appear in placements till their completion of college. 2. tata, delloite adobe, Infosys, reliance, ventures, honda motors and etc. all the mncs in India visits the college. around 123 companies visited in the year 2020 and 686 placement offers had been given by them. 3. in cs/ it there is 100% placement whereas in the core department it is around 80-90%. the highest package is around 16 lkaP and average around 6-7 lacs. 4. I have a plan to give the gate exam for mtech for pursuing higher degrees in top universities in India.

Over 30 to 40 companies come here for the placement and many students get placed. Companies like tcs, tata steel, Vedanta, acc, Deloitte, and many more are related to all the fields from computer science to production.

From the 6th semester and onwards you can try for placements there are many placements opportunities. The main recruiting companies are tata Steel, Vedanta and jsw in our branch in the core sector and you can also try for non core placements. The highest package of our branch is 10.52lpa and an average of 5 LPA. placement in my branch is around 90% before covid. If you are not interested in placements or not satisfied with the package then you can give gate examination for pursuing higher studies.

from 6th sem campus placements starts, companies arrive at college. Tata Steel, TCS, Wipro, Vedanta many more arrives. But you have to work hard for placement. Very few seats are available this year highest 13 LPA package. The average package is about 6 lac. approx 30%students placed in mining branch.

Mining engineering students can get an internship from 3rd year but CS IT departments can put in efforts and can get internships early which are very helpful for Placements. Companies like Tata Steel provide internships to various branches through its Inspire Program taken by the company itself and a mining engineering student can get an internship at CSIR-CIMFR. If you put effort then taking a job is not that hard.

BIT Sindri being a very reputed institution in Jharkhand state, the placements are quite good. Hard-working & deserving students easily get jobs. The Training & Placement Cell of college assists students to develop skills & get their dream jobs. Students become eligible for campus placements in their 4th year, in the 7th semester. Variety of companies (both core & IT sector) like TATA STEEL, TCS, VEDANTA, ACCENTURE, SIFY TECH, VIRAJ PROFILES LTD., L&T, JSW, USHA MARTIN, INNOLABZ VENTURES, GIRIKON, INFO EDGE, HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED, TSUISL, MATIX FERTILIZER, etc. have visited the campus for placements this year. This year, a total of 50+ companies visited & no. of students offered placements were 341. The average package was 5.05 LPA & the highest package was 12.7 LPA which was offered by INFO EDGE. Overall, the placement percentage is 70-80%.

The placement of the college is quite good in every branch except few. In computer, ece, it almost all students gets placed with average package of 4lac. And me and ee have placement of 60-75%with average package of 5-6lac per annum

The placement of birsa institute of technology, Sindri is very good. In the 2020 pandemic more than 90% of students got their campus placement. The highest package is around 14 lakh per annum and the average package is around 6 lakh per annum.
