Delhi College of Arts and Commerce Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As per the ratio, more than half of the students get good jobs. An average of more than 60% of students gets placed each year. The salaries are as high as 6 lakh pa. Top roles are audit analysts, accountants and content writers.

Talking about the placement I think every college is good and you get placement only when have the quality and skills required. The highest placement of our college is I think it's 10 lakh p.a and lowest is 2-3 lakh p.a I don't know about the percentage of people getting placement my plans are I wanted to do get placed and after 3 years of job experience I do pursue my MBA.

The students become eligible for campus placements in 2nd year for all streams. The companies that are visited in campus placement is names is Hdfc bank, all private banks, jio, reliance, Nav etc. The highest package is 7cr and the average package depends on the interview and performance in midterms. The profile almost preserved normally manager or supervisor in a similar department. The percentage of students for getting placements in yearly exam minimum 60%. The plans after exams are I will do preparation for civil services.

The placements here are good. Many big companies like EY, Deloitte, PWC recruits from our college. The average package is around 3.5 lacs and the highest package was 10 lacs pa. Almost all the students were placed. The faculty and the placement cell helped many students to bag good packaged.

Fifth semester onwards, the students become eligible to apply for placements. eY, KPMG, TresVista, etc. (around 10-12 companies) visit on regular basis. They offer an annual package of 4L. The packages offered are not very handsome because DCAC doesn't have postgraduation courses. Most of the students opt for further higher studies rather than taking up jobs. The placement record is good though. Around 80% of students get placed. I have planned to prepare for Civil Services after getting my degree. Going for MBA, CA, CS, Acturials, LLB, MCom, MA, UPSC preparation, foreign universities, etc. are the most common plans of students of DCAC if they choose not to go for campus placement.

In 5th semester or 3rd year student eligible for campus placement. Companies visit our college for campus placement. 1. Google 2.ICICI prudential 3.Genpact 4. IBM and many other companies also visited our college. Highest package is 5 lakh and the average is 3.50 lakh. 30 Percent of student avail placement. After completing the degree I also avail placement for my financial stand up.

The campus placement cell is very well coordinated. They provide good internship offers and job offers. I think the avg pack offered for the job is 5-6 lakhs per annum. Many reputed companies come to our college which includes Wipro also.

Placements are decent, and nearly 60 % of the students recruit from campus placements. They judge you on the basis of 3 rounds in total. The first is a written exam, the second is the GD round, and the third is a personal interview round. I have about the placements drives they are good. The average package goes around 3-4 lacs p.a with few exceptions too that may extend to 7-8 lacs and beyond. There are also many students who move to some other professional course or degree.

1. I chose this course because I had a keen interest in Commerce. The course offers a specialised knowledge on various aspects of the field. 2. The course should include thesis, research studies etc. In order to make it relevant in the practical world. 3. The college offered a great environment for societies/clubs, offering some of the best ones in the University of Delhi.

I have chosen this course due to my marks, and top colleges are providing this course. I wish the college should improve the infrastructure, and students should be given many choices in general electives. Events are never-ending, and in a month there can be 2 or more events. Our campus is one of the smallest campuses in Delhi University. The crowd of our college has diverse people from all states in India, and students from South Africa, Nepal, Bangladesh, etc, are studying here, so you will get a lot of exposure. There are the nearest metro station and bus stop named Bhikaji Cama Place, which is 1 km away from college, and autos are also available here. DCAC is built in a residential area, so we are isolated, but nearby we have Sarjoni Nagar Market at a distance of 20-30 minutes. There are also Connaught Place, India gate and other places near the college. Our college offers many scholarships for students. There are many opportunities for extracurricular activities ranging from singing to trade.
