Likes

Scholarships like nsp etc are provided to students by applying to respective forms and staff is helpful.
The helpful faculty of the college which provide the students with valuable information and inside into the academic knowledge needed to succeed in life . the understanding of the teachers towards the students.
Placement cell is very supportive and number of companies they have manage to bring to the table is great.

Dislikes

The teachers teach well, but due to low strictness levels and no discipline there is high irregularity of attendance and students don't attend classes properly.
Faculty is little bit not so qualified. but they are so much arrogant.
The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:60 in core subjects and it goes slightly lower for the electives.

Journey of kindness in DSC

The things which I like in the college that is effective placement support who always we have the dedicated placement cell in our college and which also helps to provide career counselling
The second aspect is the society societies are well rounded enough for social exposure and CV building.
Our course curriculum is totally based on the practical learning and approaches which helps in personal as well as professional development in terms of future based courses such as CFA, CPA, et cetera

Dislikes

The one thing which I do not like personally is infrastructure which is modern but need little renovation
I strongly believe are faculties are expert and their domain their teaching style is modern but at somehow it needs little little bit modification.
Our campuses engaging but at somehow it kills are time in something waste activities so it's very important you have to save your time

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to set in the placement from 5th semester onwards and the company visited in our college is big four that is KPMG, Deloitte, etc. number of offers made by the company were not explicitly disclosed by the college. The highest package was 36 lakh and average package was 5 lacs and profiles offered are auditing, assurance, finance, etc. Almost 70 to 80% students placed in the college. I will pursue masters after graduation.

The quality of infrastructure is superior we have different a playground such as basketball ground, cricket ground, volleyball ground, etc.
Placement services are topnotch and career support is magnificent
Faculties are professional and expert in their respective domains their teaching style is modern and possess mentorship quality

Dislikes

Even all the things are good just need little modification in our course curriculum need little more practical learning as well
Every college possesses are good society even my college to but need a little bit time arrangement in the society
Quality of infrastructure is fantastic but need just little renovation

There are several companies who visited are college such as big four that is Deloitte, KPMG PWC, etc and the number of offers they made were not explicitly disclosed by college. If I talk about the highest package that is 36 lakhs and average packages is 5 lakhs and the profiles are generally audit, assurance, finance, etc. Almost 70% student placed through this course and this number changes every year. I will pursue masters after my graduation.

I like my library there are lot of books and novels of famous writers and suitable facilites for study
I like my college ncc ground .it is too wide and clean

Dislikes

I dislike my course timetable because there is too gap in their classes.
My college morning building is too old .

I choose this course because i love history and i can manage the history subjects . It helps in my competitive exams and it also help to understand the process of time eruod and chronolgy of human and thier life style . Some changes may occurs in the teaching method is to use the technology and some projects related to history or this course. The timing of exams is 3 hours

Thanks what I like in the college is faculties are professional, expert in their domain and their teaching method is modern and mentorship quality is awesome
Infrastructure in my college is all above the shoulders and head its campus are good, clean drinking water and advance technology classrooms
Our course curriculum is relevant and helps us to pursue the higher education such as PhD and M.Phil, etc.

Dislikes

Societies are good but sometimes it doesn't care about the time of the members
Course relevant but as our course is not a professional course so little bit it affects better overall is good
Placement services are good but they need a proper departmentalization and it

Placement Experience:

From the fifth semester students are eligible to sit for the campus placements and there are several big four companies and other companies who visited the college such as KPMG delight PWC Accenture Zomato swiggy etc and offers that company made were not disclosed by the college. Highest package was 36 lakhs and average package was 5 lacs and the profile offers was not disclosed by college. Around 60 to 70% of a students are placed in the courses like BCom honours, Eco honours, etc. Maybe I will opt for the phd in the future

This curriculum is based kn accountability which help me in future for MBA pursue. The curriculum prepare me for real world application as it is based accounts and corporate subject matter. I think there should be improvement in my classroom technology and facilities. There is two exams in a year.

Pros and Cons of Dyal Singh College

Likes

I liked the location of the college as it's located in a very accessible and sort of posh area.
Our college has a lot of societies which can be very fun for someone wanting a very active social life.
The faculty is absolutely amazing especially in the commerce department

Dislikes

There are no other colleges nearby us which is sad as we don't see many students other than those of our own college around
The campus is not very big which means you may get bored quickly
The infrastructure of the college is quite old, non air conditioned classrooms feel like hell in summers

Placement Experience:

more than a hundred companies recruit from here KPMG Global Service, EY GDS, D.E. Shaw Group, Genpact Enterprise Risk Consulting, JLL, Accenture, HCL Tech, Acies, Grant Thornton, Willis Tower Watson, L&T Construction, and TresVista are some of the big names around 200 hundred students were placed in different profiles such as technology, finance, Digital Marketing, Operations, and more. Highest package was 23.5 LPA P.A and Median package was 5 LPA P.A

The college location is very good as compared to other college of delhi university as the lodhi garden ;safdarjung tomb; humanyun tlmb jln stadium delhi zoo sundar Nursery is a walking distance from the college and pragati maidan is also very close
The teachers is very helpful and engage with the students and help them
The canteen and library of our college is very huge as compare to other colleges we have a basketball court also societies of our college has varieties of societies which help students in self development and carrer opportunities

Dislikes

I did not like The crowd of the jatt jugar in our college they make the environment unfriendly our college did not have any fest and programes
Water cooler of our college is very old need to be updated college toilet is also very bad
College infrastructure is quite old is needs maintenance

A decent College with good academic exposure

The teacher are experienced, supportive, calm and most of them explain concept in the class only and help in clearing doubt and acedmic problem
My campus environment is calm, freindly and safe , especially for girls and there are many active society and event increase student encourage.
The fee structure is affordable to compared to private college,

Placement opportunity are less for sceince student so, student need to focus on higher study and comoetitive exam
Some lab and infrastructure facilities need improvement to match current acedmic requirememt
At this time the curriculum feels so theory oreinted with comparietivly less oreinted and reasearch based exposurre

I like basketball court and football court of college...
You also like library of the college. Most of the books are available in college if it's a course book or its reading book
Overall faculty was also good some teachers are rude but most of the teachers are sweet..

Dislikes

Some rooms are very dirty and there not useful . But class is held at there..
There is a rose garden but which is close for students
Benches are also not good at all the rooms in front of rooms are goods but at the backward rooms it's not good

Me and my words

Likes

The first thing I liked about the college was the high female participation. In semester one, all three core subjects were taught by female teachers and in semester two, there are females as well.
The college is located in such a location that it is visible as soon as you exit the metro station. It is also visible after getting off the bus. Getting there is easy because of the availability of adequate transportation.
If you want to do any type of activity in college, you will find all types of people. You want to dance, sing, study, play games, all types of people are available in the college.

Dislikes

You asked about the ratio of girls to boys in your class. I'm in Section A (B.Com program). There's no such thing as a boys to girls ratio in my class. The ratio of boys to girls in our class is 9.1.

I was a little interested in money management since childhood, that's why I chose B.Com because it teaches about money management. If we talk about the syllabus and how much it connects with the real world, then it is very little. We are taught the same old syllabus which has been changed a long time ago. Mainly in the accounts subject, first of all one should see what is going on in the real world and what is there in the syllabus. The same syllabus is repeated again and again while the world is changing very fast. The exams are improving but the syllabus needs improvement. The exam is going well
