It has a good academic record(getting chancellor award for last 5 successive years), Good ranked college among all AKTU colleges. Excellent Infrastructure. Being in Delhi-NCR Region. was getting Fee Waiver seat.I took the admission through UPSEE counselling.I got a Rank of 5590 in this exam,so I got Fee waiver seat.I was advised by my Seniors, by my councellor too.(considering my Rank in this exam as well as in other exams)

After 12th i have cleared the UPSEE exam and got 14 thousand rank and in the counselling process i got AKG college. The infrastructure of the college is best in the NCR region. Its made with the help of German infrastructure. The administration of the college is very disciplined as all of them belongs to army background.

Placement for students of CSE and IT branch is best about 90-100%get placed but it’s difficult for students of CIVIL and MECHANICAL branch students. This year about 90% of students of branch Cse, It, Ece got placed. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Havells, etc and sometimes companies like Adobe, Bosch, Siemens, etc also comes. The average package is about 4-5 lakhs and the highest package goes to about 14-15 lakhs.

There are many companies visited on the campus which provide decent placements. 80% of students get placed during placements. I want to run my own business after the degree. The lowest package is 3lakh/ year.

As per records, the college has a good placement record. Also faculties apart from academic make student company ready. All students get the equal opportunity if they have threshold cgpa. Company visiting college always offers students the best things with the best placement. Also, college apart from placement opportunities allows students to join various training courses offered to make them capable to crack the job interview. The student who is capable and isn't able to crack interview are given some special assistance to guide them in a way to get job.

From the 3rd year, students become eligible for the placements. Many big companies like Samsung, Amazon, Deloitte, DLT Labs visit the college for recruiting students during the campus placement. An overall percentage of 75 is recommended for the students to be eligible for sitting in any company recruitment process. The college has a decent package of around 3-4 LPA for CSE/IT/ECE students rest branch placement is very poor.

Right now I am just in my second year so I don't know much about placements and all. But I think 6th and 7th-semester students appear for placement interviews etc. Teachers have told us that most of the students of Computer science-related branches are placed in some company or the other while mechanical and civil students are rarely placed anywhere. I have heard of TCS and Infosys visiting our campus every year and many students are placed here as well. While I have heard that Amazon also visited our college once but no one was placed. The average package for our college would be 2.5 to 3 LPA. While some of our well-deserved seniors go for off-campus placement and they get higher than 12 LPA as well. 75-80% of students in my course (CSE related) are placed. I plan for trying to get a decent placement on the campus while studying hard to make myself capable of going out of my comfort zone and hitting some great companies off campus as well.

AKGEC is one of the finest college affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. The college constitutes all the basic facilities and features that are required to pursue a Bachelors degree in nay of the streams. The admission process is done through the State examination after which the branch is assigned on the basis of preference and the merit. The college is ranked best among all the other colleges affiliated to the State University and it includes all the desirable entities that a student needs in a college from well furnished classrooms to highly equipped labs. While selecting the college, the official website of the university shows the previous cutoffs which ranks AKGEC as the top three colleges of the State.

Placements ratio is 85% in this college and which is very much good. In 6 semester there is a good option for eligible students who are good at their studies and have much quantity at their own studies

College has good discipline and faculties are helpful but lot of assignment are there which are not required mess food is average best for mechanical engineering students. There are lot of societies which encourage you to join them and also as there are no fest in college they help college to organize there own events.
