Placement Experience:

In this college, many core companies came here for the placement. Here you are eligible for placements after completion of your Btech degree i.e. from eight semesters. Here many-core companies such as TATA, BCCL, and many more companies came to give better placement offers to students, and many IT companies such as TCS, Udemy, and many more companies came here. Overall BIT brings maximum companies for better placements. The average placement in this college is 5-6 lakhs per annum and the highest package goes around 15 lakhs per annum. Here almost 40% of students are getting placements in good companies. I also go for a better placement after completion of my BTech degree from BIT.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be frank I chose this civil engineering course because I want to crack govt jobs through GATE, SSC Jee, etc. As civil engineering course has many got jobs opportunities. The boy's girls ratio in my branch is 3:1.In BIT SINDRI almost all the faculty members have done Ph.D. in their subjects and their teaching methods are also advanced, in fact, they are very much talented. In a semester there are 2 mid semesters and practical and viva. So very frequently exam is being taken and it is sometimes easy and sometimes hard to pass the exam. It depend on how well you listen to teachers.

Affordable yet Precious College

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good for CSE, EE, ECE, IT students, Average for Mech., Metallurgy students, And least for Civil, Mining and Chemical students. Companies like TATA, Wipro, Infosys, Aditya Birla visits every year and provide upto 50% placement. There is no criteria of marks for placement. Its all upto the need of the companies. It has a average package of 6 lacs and the highest of 12 lacs. I'm from Civil and I am looking forward for the competitive exams like JPSE, IES, IAS etc.

Why a student have to join the BIT Sindri college.

Placement Experience:

Exactly, placements depend on students what they do in thier 4-year college life. But normally placements are given to the 3rd year and 4th year students. Many big companies like Tata Steel, Tata Power, Adani, Vedanta, etc recruiting students from this college.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. There are many companies that visited hair like Tata, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. Tata isna company that has many branches like Tata digital, Tata Ninja, and various mechanical, chemical, and production departments. The highest package is about 1300000 and the lowest package is 300000 and the average package is 5 lakh. 50 percentage of the students get placement here. My plan is to get placed, but the Placement in my department is very much slow.

A brief story of BIT Sindri

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from seven semesters. The major company is L&T, TATA, J&W, TRANS RAIL, TSUISL, etc. The highest package is about 12 lakhs and the average package about 5 lakhs as of all the companies and profiles. About 50% of students get placements. My plan is to go to the govt sector and crack govt exams after getting the degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is well more than 50% students get placed in this college. The more number of students get place In core branch Mechanical And Electrical branch. In the civil branch, the placement ratio is low. The avg. package of this college is about 4-5 lacs per annum. There are many types of companies like TATA, JSW, L&T, VEDANTU, TCS etc come every year. The highest package is gone is about 12 lacs per annum by TATA and by core branch students like Mechanical, Electrical and also Metallurgy and CS. I plan to do GATE after my degree.

BIT SINDRI~WE ARE SECOND TO NONE

Remarks:

First of all this is one and only fully funded state government engineering college in Jharkhand which is also my home state.The college campus is very large approx 500 acre.Placements in this college is above 70 % and for my branch i.e chemical engineering it s about 75%.Also the placements are in core companies too.The admission process is very simple just give jee mains and when the rank of the exam release then apply for the formation of merit list of Jharkhand students only on the portal (www.jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in 2021) once merit has come just apply for college and branch councelling on the same portal.The councelling will be completely online .once you have been alloted the college,go to college for physical verification and start your college journey.This college takes admission of students only of Jharkhand.

A glimpse of Bit Sindri

Placement Experience:

Our college is famous for metallurgical department placement. Every year 75 out of 95 students are placed from metallurgical department. Same case is also with other branches but low placements in cs and it. Every year 71 to 80 companies visit and provides more than 600 offers to students. Some of the major companies are tcs, Tata ,cil, Wipro, byju,allen, tech mahindra, Samsung, jindal ,Honda, Bajaj ,companies visit and provides offer .I will rate 7.5 out of 10 were placed every year. From fourth year only you are applicable to get jobs and placed. Highest package of our college is 12 lakh from metallurgical and lowest package is 3.5 lakh from CS department. Average package of our college is 5 to 6 lakh. My target is clear the gate exam and opt job in psus.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.

The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.

The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
