The view is very nice .the teachers are so helping in academics. couse is nice.
Location is magnificent the morning and evening view is just awesome
Yah college fees is very good and in it's budget friendly range also in terms of campus jobs the placement rate is okay not so good not so bad and all things are good here and also mamy scholarship available

Dislikes

Talking about the hostels in our college , 3 boys share a room with the average space but the washrooms are dirty and not cleaned regularly.
Faculty to student ration is good for a class of 60 students there is 5 faculties faculties are well qualified interation with faculty is very low or nill, some talk very rudely
Mess facilities are bad- food us too oily and bland in taste

Real view of GBPIET

Likes

The first thing I like is its nature and environment.
The first thing I like is its campus diversement.

Dislikes

The main thing here is attack of monkeys and tiger at night.
No proper hygiene in the mess food and irregularity of weather.
No proper water supply system in the college

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester to 8 semester students become eligible for campus placement. Wipro l&t are the few companies that visited and made of a to students previous year. The highest package that I know is 60 lakh and the average packages 2 lakh. The percentage of student getting placement is 15%. my plans after getting the degree clearing GATE exam for the studies or getting job in MNC because I don't have much faith in the college or campus placement.

Likes

College Campus is very very beautiful. If you ask to me then i will say that GBPIET have one of the best campus view . Lots of greenery, mountains and Himalayan ranges views.
You have very free time as compared to other government and private engineering college.
Good culture and ecosystem of GATE examination.

Dislikes

You can not expect very high placement from this college especially if you are from core like Electrical, mechanical , civil and biotechnology.
Some faculties will support you but some of them are very strict.
Some faculties is not very highly qualified but some of them are very qualified, passout from IITs.

Placement Experience:

In our college campus placemet is not that good as compare to top other government colleges but the environment is good here for competitive exams like GATE, BARC, CDS, UPSC , CAT etc. But this year Computer science, electronics and communciation, Mechanical branch got lots of placement here and off campus is another option .

A wonderful short explanation about the college

Likes

The campus: it is big and too much beautiful.. it's heaven for the ones who likes nature
Auditorium: it's like a cherry on top to the College.. it makes college's infrastructure really good
This year's on campus placement of our college was too good as compared to other years

Dislikes

Too much monkeys are here in this college
Some of the faculties don't know how to teach properly..
Water shortage and lack of cleanliness in the hostel

Placement Experience:

The highest placement of our college is 12 lakh per annum. Mostly the placements are around 4-10LPA. Many student focuses more on GATE exam rather than preparing for their placement exams. From 6th semester students become eligible for the campus placements. Companies which give placement here are BEL, LnT, TCS,IBM

Less fees for a student to pay so easy and accessable for everyone
Events are there for development for a student to develop
Culture is worshiped all festivals are celebrated

Dislikes

Not much for a student to develop as a person and develop as personality
Transportation is difficult for a student to reach home and college
Faculty is not much good for a student to grow

Likes

The sceneric view in our college is pretty good.
Hostel and mess fees is very affordable.
The faculty in our college is very helpful.

Dislikes

There is a very large distance between girls hostel and departments.
Water supply is not so regular in our college.
Since the college is on mountains there is network problem.

Placement Experience:

There are in campus placements in our college but Placements in our college varies from branch to branch. There are several companies that visits here every year. The average package here is 600000 per annum.

The campus is beautiful and has great topography due to its elevation from land .
The faculties are highly educated and experienced
The hostels are decent as compared to other private and govt college

Dislikes

The average package is not good which is somewhat around 3-4 lpa
The accessibility to other places is not good
Mess food are average depending upon hostels

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement as some pretty good companies come for placements but the no. of students selected are quite limited. The highest offer for session 2023 was 12 lpa . And there were many more students who got placement.

Faculty members are helping hands for us, they supports us in our studies.
Hostel management is also okay, wardens are not able to give that much time but are helping for us.
Seniors and juniors interaction is also good and social to all college.

Dislikes

Some faculties are much rude and don't have basic knowledge.
Hostel have more strength but less number of room.
Few seniors are like that we have to maintain discipline in front of them.

Placement Experience:

Good placement people's or seniors who have got placements are good in speaking skills. Good speaking skills can change a person's personality, it makes the person a time managing person who understanding the calue of choosing a carrier.

The sceneries at our college is actually very good.
Hostel and Mess Fees is very affordable.

Dislikes

Regional transports to reach here are not so good as the college is far away from Rishikesh
Availability of books at the library..as the good books has already taken by the students in the starting of semester.
Sometimes Course completion is very fast.

Placement Experience:

There are incampus placements in my college but the placement ratio varies from department to department. The highest placement in my department is 1500000 per annum and average is 500000 per annum.

GBPIET A beautiful and worthy college

Likes

The college atmosphere if white peaceful and the view of the quality perfect
Teachers are quite helpful and highly educated
The course is being done in very affordable price

Dislikes

Girls are restricted from going out of the hostel after 6:00 p.m. where there is no such timing issue for
A little animal attack are there in the college

Placement Experience:

The placements for the mechanical electronics and computer science department of very good compare to the other departments and average of 5 lakh is provided to every student and mostly students are placed from the college and the students left get internship from out of the camp

I liked the new environment that college provides it gives you a chance to grow.

Dislikes

The thing I disliked the most is that there is no culture or very new culture in the college that is still developing

College placements are as you would expect from a tier three college just average no high expectations. on campus placements are just average 3-4 lac per annum so yeah percentage placed are around 30 percent
