Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Off campus you can do whatever is your potencial but on campus is not available

Placement Experience:

You can get small internship. But placements here us too good. 24lakh is the highest placement here. Avg is 4lakh. Nirf ranking 163. 79 percent students placed.

Remarks:

Haldia Institute Of Technology is a good college. The campus area of the college is very big. In this food technology stream Job opportunities are very good. The professor and the teacher of the college are very good. I was admitted to this college in 2019 through WBJEE counselling process. I found out about this college through the website.

Best college at affordable fees

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from 6 th sem . Many companies like wipro,tcs, Infosys,Berger,Haldia petrochemical, nestle,Adani and many core companies use to visit our college. This year highest package was 20 lakh grabbed by a cse student and avg package 4-5 lakh.

Remarks:

I chose this course because of my inclination towards electronics and programming. So, what better way to go than ECE. A perfectly balanced course which is a blend of CS and Electrical subjects. The placement record is also impressive. The course needs improvisation, more practical approach is necessary to make students understand and implement what they learn. Extracurricular is at par with any other college. Lot's of opportunity and lots of events to choose from.

My school seniors were studying in this college, and had told me about the college. Moreover, while searching for some best colleges in West Bengal, due rank of WBJEE, I had to select it. The Faculty is very good and the infrastructure of the college. I can say, is the best. The previous placement records also drove me to be a part of it.

A genuine review

Placement Experience:

You can go for campusing just after you enter to 4th year. And Electronic and Communication, Computer Science braches have very good records of placements in West Bengal. Infosys. Wipro. Tech Mahindra. Byjus. Vedantu. Topcon and many new companies come to my college. Almost 80~90 percentage got placed. I am trying to enter in IITs or NITS for a higher degree or any PSUs

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
