- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Placement Experience:
The college placements are not very good and the placement scenario needs to be improved. Most of the placement offers to go to CS or IT students and the core students have a hard time finding decent placement offers.

Placement Experience:
The core students here really do struggle to get good placements. The CSE, IT and ECE departments fare well though. Also, the placements are pretty decent for Biotechnology, Food technology and chemical students. They are offered good jobs with decent packages.

The management puts up a good effort and the director is always yp in his shoes figuring out something innovative to keep the students indulged in their academics. Overall its a great experience that I gathered and I would surely suggest someone to go for it.

I have choosen 2-3 more college before it but as per my rank I got this college in 3rd counselling. I love physics(which is elaborated in mechanical engineering) and some of my relatives have suggested that mechanical is the best branch to get high packagey job outside my country that's why I took admission in my college with Mechanical Engineering.

I chose this college, Haldia Institute of Technology because it was the college referred to me by WBJEE RANK. The main reason for choosing this college is its infrastructure. This is one of the best private engineering colleges in my state and I opted for it.The decision in choosing this college was also backed by good feedbacks I recieved regarding Haldia Institute of Technology. Irritated by the hustle and bustle of a city life, I chose a life in the outskirts. Haldia is peaceful than most cities and felt that it could be a perfect place for studies. The Practicals which is an important element in any proffesional course.Good practicals require good laboratories and As I heard from the most Haldia Institute of Technology doesn't compromise on the practicals. Haldia Institute of Technology hostel facilities also made it easy to make a decision.

The fees structure is totally feasible. It is moderate and affordable. The hostel fees is moderate. The college also provides scholarship for challenged students and also for other fields. I opted this college because of its excellent placement history and it's atmosphere.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the biggest colleges in west Bengal in area wise. Many top IT companies visit our campus for recruitment. Most of the students from CSE, ECE and IT get the job easily. The fees is also very low. All contributed to my decision in getting admission here.

I surely did my research before joining this college. And in my research I found out that this has one of the best campus placement among the private colleges. Also being a private college it had a wider reach for companies. That alone impressed me to join the college. And I wanted to experience the hostel life.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
