Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Haldia Institute of Technology is a decent private Engineering college

Remarks:

The management is very politically active and they always biased to a particular political party. Any student having guardian with a political background have all the benefits from the management. I think this habit of the management demoralises the other talented students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college seems to be a better option if you desire a place where you want to learn and also admire the beauty of nature. The place is so relaxing and soothing that you will never regret it.While on the curriculum side, there is no lag, very much updated labs, the teachers are sound and you will learn for sure if you really desire to learn. Otherwise, if you are an IITian you might sell pakoda after graduating if you don't learn what you have been taught so college is just a journey to enjoy and learn simultaneously. Haldia is a gem telling you.

Placement Experience:

Job Opportunity in my college is very good for the students of the software department. And it is not that the job of the core department people is not there. The biggest thing about the college is that along with the government, the college also promotes startups.

The infrastructure can be better with ACs and good benches. Packages offered by companies can also be increased by enhancing the skills of study especially spoken English skills for Bengali students that is very poor.

Remarks:

The academic management of the college is decent, especially in the Computer Science Engineering department. But It's terrible when it comes to the office of fees collection or library.

Because I am really interested in the Field this was totally new for Me , Chemical Engineering was a field which I wanted to apt for when I was at my 10+2 , so yeah . This college was one of the best college for Chemical Engineering in West Bengal so I choose it.

Admission:

Jelet entrance, I applied as the college is a renowned one for its undergraduate engineering course, the infrastructure is good with renowned faculties and the placement was good before 2011 apart from this there are opportunities to have many internships and other workshop activities.

Haldia Institute Of Technology Review

Remarks:

Our college is good as compared to the other private colleges in West Bengal. The college locally hosts the digital library, and provide the Wi-Fi connectivity with the limited usage. The labs are of A+ class with all the equipment available. The physics labs have a dark room. We have the separate labs for the different modules in chemistry.

College Campus Review

Remarks:

Highly positive. It has free wifi facility in the whole campus area. We have a huge library and digital library also in our campus and 2 football ground 1 basketball ground and huge campus area for cycling.

Remarks:

The college has very good campus. The faculty is also good. but the labs are not sufficient. To stay in this college someone have to adopt things like buying the drinking water cause it's normal water is salty.But in other way the college is good for it's price and what it's offer.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
