Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

A good college for students from West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand

Remarks:

If you are choosing engineering, be ready to indulge into smoking or drinking. It's common. Everything else is great. Its up to you, you have to study or not. After all you are responsible for whether you study or not

The one of the best colleges in west bengal

Remarks:

The college helped me out how to manage time, money management, regularity in a single day of our daily curriculum. The college is upto the mark. There's a always a positive vibe I found every time I enter to my college.

Our college is doing their best for their students.,everything by which students can get proper exposure for their technical skills. For placements my college is very concerned about how students can get better jobs and experience well stipends and exposure. Overall college is trying, now we have to try.

Remarks:

Ragging is an issue at my time, but now administration takes strict action. Anti ragging committee is now there. College owner was also an MLA in past from CPI govt in West Bengal. Apart from this everything is fine.

Great campus

Remarks:

Overall campus is very good teachers are very helpful seniors are also very helpful. Ragging free campus. Lots of fests and programs entertainments are there for students. Hostels are inside the campus.

Remarks:

In my opinion, first of all, the positive remarks are each student got in college campus placement will be held and in inside college, the campus placement will go and many companies will become and all of the students will be getting a job with a good salary that is positive remarks and also so many organization will be organized in college such as NGO, samarpan, Needs organization will be run through ours senior teacher and senior brother and the junior also so that is a very good thing. And in my opinion, negative remarks are not at all.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
