- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Yes. May be hostel life be hard in start but simply opt for hostel. Senior thoda pareshan karege. But these will create memory. And if you want gf, don't wait. Because girl is to boys ratio is around 1:5. So starting talking and when you got time simply propose her. Or else remain single for 4 year and take help of hostel private network.

I got admission in this college by my WBJEE State rank and I chose Chemical engineering branch because in this college there are many placements of that and branch and other branches as well. There cames mainly software company and as well as core branches company and they give good packages.

Remarks:
There both postive? as well as negative review about my college. Basically it's a mixture of some thoughts. One can enjoy this college life to fullest. The greenery attracts with calm environment, far from City is really relaxing, and students can concentrate more on studies properly and work efficiently.

The college infrastructure is very good. the college provide all the necessary facility to the students. The college is well maintained and there are lots of tree and plants which are decorated all over around. which seems very beautiful.

Every college has some good side as well as some bad sidesm. No college including IITs is perfect. So at last I also admit that my college is not the best but itstgood enough in every aspect and it will be better if we students work hard for the college.

Education environment and placement is good. Market is nearby and there are in campus stores and resturent. Wifi provided in hostel. Medical and hospital facility for students 24*7 available with in campus ambulance

College has amazing campus. Its a large and arranged everything very smoothly. Cafe, departmental stores, sports grounds, games everything is amazing. It has own librariy, which provides books for semester studies and also for preparation for higher studies and qualifying entrance like GATE.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
