Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Remarks:

My College is well maintained inside out it's a very nice place for study. And the design of the buildings are so nice in a circular structure. Hostels are needed to be a little developed for the future years.

Remarks:

Yes, before I was addmission I heard about this college that there was ragging happened but nowadays no ragging happened. Anti-ragging facilities available in the Institute. Faculty are helpful for anti-ragging facilities.

Remarks:

Infrastructure of my college is very very good. It is like a palace. Faculties as well as seniors are very helpful in my college. They know how to treat each other in the best possible way anyone could do.

Nice campus and faculty.and placement is good

Remarks:

Lack of discipline like seniors behaviour for the 1st year student is not so good and they have to face ragging for the 1st semester and the discipline of some of the students are not so good as they are involved in matters etc.

No negative remarks about the college. Our college is overall a good world of living in itself. We enjoy here a lot, altough we miss home but it totally seems like a home away from home. There are positive remarks about this college as this college never stays back in helping and supporting the students.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
