- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

- Senior are very friendly and good interaction with senior they guide many matters i like it

- The system of education syllabus are very old makut syllabus

Higest in chemical is plant management engineer got played by 26lpa 2024
92-94% got placed others take higher studies and gate

- Good infrastructure with big campus area and teachers are so humble and well desipline
- Alloted separate 1st year hostels in 1k distance from college campus
- Boys and Girls ratio is 6.5:3.5 and Girls have alloted separate hostels
Dislikes
- 75% attendance is mendetory this is so boring
- College have specific dress code this is disgusting
- Ragging is the big problem in my collage

Hm! In my collage under maulana abul Kalam azad University so very old syllabus which is not required in the growing world but my collage have specialization courses like AI-ML, DATA SCIENCE. Collage timings for classes is good.

Now I am a 1st year student
I would eligible for placement after 3rd year more specifically after 6th sem
Last week Wipro , IVM visited our college
Chances given are quite good...In Simple language if you study quite good you will be certainly selected with good package ????

- The best thing about this college is it's lush green campus in 42 acres with all the facilities inside the campus .
- It's placement is decent as compared to its fees and expenditure of living.
- Faculty is good and they are well qualified also. This college has a great library with all the best books available.
Dislikes
- The first disadvantage is that it's located in very outside area . So sometimes travelling and enjoying college life becomes a great deal.
- Talking about placements generally it's mass recruiters which offers just a average package for most of students.
- The worst thing about this college is the behaviour and nature of seniors. It's completely not recommended for weak hearted students.
Placement Experience:
Students can get placed in the starting of 7th semester as companies starts visiting the college.
Tcs , Wipro ,cognizant are major recruiters and recently for CSE Aiml there were 180 students and 155 offers were made .The highest package on campus is 33 lakhs and off campus is 45 lakhs . Average package is around 4 lakhs. 80-85% students are placed . My plan is to get placed in a good company with a great package.

From the 5 th semester students are going for internship. Placement scenario is good student basically crack their placement after 7 th semester. here many companies recruitment are infosys, microsoft,ibm,adani enterprises bmw groups,wipro ,tata chemical, Tata Steel etc

- I liked the infrastructure and all the engagement of clubs in our college. Its like you can explore mamy domains. I am in one of the club and now i am a content writer, graphic designer and also good in public relations clubs will improve your skills
- In my department labs are well managed and used . It's really good as i am biotechnology students.its important to do practicals. And we got naac accreditation A last year
- Our College Has the biggest college library in the west Bengal in private colleges
Dislikes
- I don't like food as i am a non bengali and veg soo its hard for me to survive
- I don't like uniform its my personal opinion
Placement Experience:
After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placements. In our college there's really a good rate of placement this year. Many big companies visited our college and take students like Infosys, ibm, capgemini, accenture, tech mahindra, ambuja, zifo, labvantage, pwcusa, pwcindia, wipro, mindtree many more.. Highest package is about 20lpa and lowest is 3lpa . Till now about 70% of students are placed till now. I will get job in it sector after degree

- There is restaurant name garden restaurant food is delicious

College gives us priorities to sit in placement form. 3rd year, compenies visiting in our college are- cognizant ,Wipro, tcs,etc..higest package is 52 lakh and avg package is 8lakh oer anum.....

- You not enjoy here night life or night cluture
- Mess food was not good.but you have option to switch other mess
- No more sports facilities available here.
Course Curriculum Overview:
In this college so many exam was held.you have a big load of assignment and other curriculum.Teaching method was old.this college is in under of makaut.if you write anything in exam you get number so you get easily pass in semester exams.

- All extra curriculum was done .campus life is good
- Here all the facilities was good..but some are strict

- Senior and junior interaction was not good...ragging
- Placement ratio is okay not good.but according to fees ok
- Messs food was not good .but you have option to other mess

In this college curriculum was good .all syllabus was accordingly to modern syllabus in this college syllabus done on time and exam held on time exam was smoothly and easy you pass semester exam by prepration of one night.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
