Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Tour about HIT, Haldia

Likes

Teacher come class on time, time is maintaining
There is a big campus and infrastructure
Placement is also good, every years there's a lot of company visit the college

Dislikes

Fees structure of hit college are too high..

I would rate the course curriculum 10 on 10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. I wanted to opt of this course that made me to choose the same. The course fees is too high. Otherwise it is nice.

Good environment for boy's and girl in college
Seniors are very good it helps us in many work
College infrastructure is very good and peaceful

Dislikes

Class room is not good and digital class is not here except 1
Teachers are good but not try to teaching good

Fees and Financial Aid:

112000 Sc/st candidates other than 250000 fee is submitted over the period of college No any scholarship for other states students it is so much difficult For Middle class family It is tough for me in submission of fees

Likes

I liked most about the college is it's beautiful campus, the friendly and cooperative nature of the teachers and staffs. One thing I would like to say is the sky here remains beautiful all day and night.
Haldia institute of technology has good record in placements, here the placement percentage is almost 92% which is quite good
Seminars, quizzes, cultural activities happens often. Blood donation camps are also organised and students are encouraged by the mentors and teachers to participate more and more in cultural activities, sports activities, etc.

Dislikes

Fresher's don't take place it's sad but that's okay.
I think the classroom should have more fans as it's too much humidity and hotness there.
The mandatory college uniform, it actually feels like I am going to the school

Placement Experience:

I think placement record is quite good in the college. Almost 92% students get placed. From 6th/7th semesters students get eligible for placements. Few name of the companies are Sypnosis, Tech Mahindra, Wipro. Highest package on the college website is 42Lpa. And average is 4-5 lpa. Also students get selected in all india exams like Gate securing good ranks and few of them also bag the under 100 ranks. Qualifying gate will give you the opportunity to pursue mtech in IITs or you can also get selected for government jobs in any PSUs

Haldia institute of technology is very beautiful college,our college campus is wow, campus life is so cool
This college infrastructure is very good, All Teacher are very good and Understanding,,our library is very big and peace full
Our college placement rate is so good, Every year 70-80% students ar placed oncampus

Dislikes

Our college is so good but college drain is over flow when rain is continuing in 4-5 hours
Our college have college dress code and it is mandatory
Every department AC class is one and other 2 class have not AC,but every laboratory have AC

Placement Experience:

Our college placement rate is 70-80. % on campus.evry year placement start on July and it is continuing to 7-8 mounth.28-35 company are visit every year.many MNC company like Infosys, Accenture,IBM, Cognizant,Tech Mahindra,kPMG, Mind tree etc.

Life in HIT

Likes

Campus is very beautiful and fill with greenery with 52 acre area. Vibe of the campus is very good for hangout with friends.You will get a canteen with garden restaurant view. Department store and shop is also available with in the campus only.
Professor are very friendly and helpful throughout the graduation.
Class rooms are big and have all the facility like ac , smart class etc.

Dislikes

Exam system is not that good. Always got late to take a semester exams.
College politics is always spread bad vide in the campus.
Student ration is bad like 20:80 girl:boy.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semester students become eligible for the campus placements. Many companies like Adani, Wipro, TCS, IOCL etc visits in the campus for offering jobs. Currently highest package is 10L to minimum package is 3.5L and average was around 4.5L per year. Almost 90 % student got placed there this campus placements. I am currently working in and IT sector right now.

Likes

The campus is really a good place to hangout with friends after classes. You get cafeteria and garden restaurant for foods, departmental stores for all your stationary needs.
Teachers are very helpful throughout the course
Class rooms are air conditioned so you don't have to sweat during important lectures

Dislikes

The exam systems are not up to the mark. They always late over the period to take exams
The girls and boys ratio is such : 10:90

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies such as adani Wilmar, Hindustan coke, emami agrovet, itc foods, Bengal beverages, dabur, zifo r&d, labvantage, Accenture, etc. Highest package for the current year is around 750000 and average is aroun 300000 per annum. 89% students got placement till now this year. My plane is to do job

Yes I'm appreciated with my course & I feel much improvement throughout my course.
The faculties much expertise & theirs teaching methods will be easy to understand & the mentorship quality will be great in any situation.
The social interaction & the campus life will be friendly with eachother.

Dislikes

The libraries facility will not much good.
I personally things some kind of good and proper well known faculty needed.
The hostel facility will be not good between hostel seniors & junior interaction will not good as well.

Placement Experience:

•From 6th & 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. • in my department the core company like Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, EtG world, ITC food, adani group, kevender, labvantage etc. • the average package will be 2.4lakh/annum & the percentage in food companies for boys will much better it's near about 88% • after getting my degree I'll do job for practical experience.

HALDIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY - AN OVERVIEW

Likes

Campus Area is Large . Fields for play is available where tournaments occur often. Library is also present.
Canteen and Recreational Centers are good inside the campus, there is a restaurant inside of the campus which servers good food.
Faculty is helpful and they motivate at times as well to achieve the desired goal.

Dislikes

Some seniors might be pain as they somehow find ways to rag juniors, but they are very few most of them are good.
Class-rooms need upgradation , sitting arrangements can be made a bit better.
Digital library can be introduced as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a Core branch student Curriculum is good enough to get ready for any more studies as well as for jobs. For electronics we get to cover a lot of topics that are taught in a pretty decent manner. But I would suggest to study some topics on our own as well as everything is not possible to be covered by the teacher in a sem. as schedule doesn't allow for long hours of classes.

Campus is very big and quiet green. you can roam here to feel nature.
seniors are helpfull, alaways give opportunities to juniours where nedded
teachers are awesome,and mentors clear all your doubts.

Dislikes

study pressure is too much in 1st year,many irelevent subjects

Placement Experience:

from 3 rd year students can seat in placements. cognigant,accenture,haldia petrochemicals are the frequent recruters. this year highest on campus placement was 13 lpa and off campus it was 33 lpa. almost 70% students got placed. i will also go for placement after my degree.

The faculties are quite helpful. they have expertise in their respective feilds
The college organizes technical fest- PRAYUKTI as well as cultural fest -RIVIERA

Dislikes

The quality of mess food is not upto the mark
Cleanliness of hostel is not good enough

Studdents are eligible for placements from 7th semester. TCS, wipro infosys pwc ,accenture visits the college every year . Average package offered is 4-6LPA per year. i a planning to do masters after completing my btech.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
