- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

The only problem is that it is very far away from the main city but that should not be a matter of concern...overall i think it is really a good college ...one can get the opportunites to do whatever he/she wants .

The course is definitely good and has a lot of opportunities in it but the institute lacks in both the quality and quantity of practical learning but more in quality. A few research initiatives have been taken , but i think it is on paper only and not worth mentioning.

In between good or bad. At first sight infrastructure is damn good. But if we do not drop the casual regulations here, it will be very hactic for us to be in college as there is everything average.

Placement Experience:
Placement is near 60-80% of this college must famous company like TCS , Wipro , Infosys , Cognizant visit our campus and recruits in bulk. Even in the core branch there were many placement opportunity

Yes it was an average college in overall .
According to place it was small town with awesome view .
I enjoyed a lot with my friends.Every moment was fabulous and unforgettable.I miss my college ,friends ,teachers and sitting infront of college road and having delicious maggie bhaja and poch .

Placement Experience:
Placement is good for IT chemical, food departments but for core branches placement is not good though. The average package is of 3-4 lakh/pa.

Placement Experience:
Placement if brach like CSE, IT, food technology, Chemical, Instrumental are good but for core branch like civil, mechanical, electronics there is very very less placement or you can say negligible. The average package for CS and it is 3lakh and highest is 9 lakh.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
