- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

One thing a college which has all the characteristics to be declared as a university is still lagging that tag till today. During our times, the college was going to be a Dean or independent University that will not operate under the preview of WBUT. Having an MBA, MTech, Law school, and 12 to 14 Engineering departments, the administration should be really concerned about this matter.
After all, we all love our college.

College life is always fun. A lot of improvements can be done. Increasing students' interaction with the industry. Research-oriented courseware development. Industry-specific- Job preparedness among students. Internships and training facilities should be improved.

College is good.
In placement sense best for nor- core.
But good for core.
Management is good. If any senior ragged you then action will bw taken by college.
Now ragging is totally banned in my college.

The good remark is cloth donation camp during technical fest by NEEDS...that is an organization that helps poor children by donating clothes...bad remark is juniors molested by seniors...

Not any bad remark is present in our college but i think some of the senior student are bad. Good college,well placement,campus is very large structure and infrastructure is absolutely well,our faculty are very educated and they help us at the extreme level

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
